Re: How different the game could have been
i still say gibbs underestimated his play calling abilities, and brought saunders in.i really think if gibbs would have kept the same offense this season as last season, the skins would be at least 6-2.

You can't play the what if game when your team loses by 24. The defense made too many mistakes, and the offense couldn't protect all of China from the Mongols even with the Great Wall. And, you certainly cannot let the refs determine the game. The Skins were pretty sloppy from start to finish yesterday, and by no means looks like a winning team.

But then Grandma/Grandpa would still have tits?
Yeah, I can. Momentum plays a great part in the game. A change in play like that can shift the game. |

Yep! Exactly! Losing teams blame the refs. Winning teams find a way to win despite the refs. It wouldn't have mattered...we may just have lost by less than what we lost by. But, it's water under the bridge now.

How did we start talking about Bill Parcells?

Bad calls like that can also fire a team up, which it did not. They did make a goal line stop there (as the DLine did play well yesterday), but the following possession was Brunell's pick for a TD. Then the Skins did what they've actually done well, rolled over and played dead.

Re: How different the game could have been
I thought they DL played great except how about BRINGING SOMEONE DOWN when you gang tackle them? It's Brian "I have a vagina." Westbrook. The most fragile RB in the league.
