Re: Len Pastabelly Slams & Praises Redskins

the article is good, but there is one thing that kills me about this guy. He is putting all the signing of these free agents that last 5 years on Snyders shoulders. Snyder simply pays the bills. Since Joe has come back Dan has been nothing but supportive and gives the coaches what they want. Someone needs to let fat ass know that Dan has had nothing to do with the free agent signings the past few years. Vinny gives the coaches a list of players that are available and Joe takes it to danny and says here is what I would like for christmas. Danny signs the checks. you know its funny, no matter what Dan does from now on he is labled this way all because of the 2000 spending spree for the Fantasy team he wanted. I actually saw an artilce where they were blasting him for not speaking out. a couple of years ago there were blasting him for talking too much.

"the scant remaining members who continue to pledge loyalty to the floundering franchise"

I was under the impression that the redskins had one of the largests fan bases in the league

Besides his sorry ass articles the two most important things in Pastabelly's life are:

1. His pet dog and
2. His supersize jar of Skippy Peanut Butter

as long as you aren't under the impression of one the largest ASSbases at ESPN.

And the most profitable by a long shot. Somebody, somewhere is buying Skins tickets and merchandise. Or else those "scant remaining members" are taking out second mortgages to afford jerseys and hotdogs. Which is entirely possible.

And now they're freaking out because he wont talk to them, they've been trying to get him to air for some time but he refuses to alow them the atempt to redicule, and humiliate him any further. I really don't blame him for taking the position he has.

Sometime I wonder what these guys now days would have said about George Preston Marshall. If he owned the team today, if he did there would only be four or five guys on it. We got our first season tickets when he was owner. From him to Dan Snyder, Snyder is a God-Send.

im starting to hate all sportswriters. and not because of the negative things they write about the skins. i really dont care about their opinions, i am a " just the facts" kind of guy.

I share in your position. Some of us who have been around long enough to remember when we didn't have to concern ourselves with all this nonsense from sportswriters. Football players, or (pro athletes in general) were like Movie Stars, they were entertainers, you only saw, or heard about them when they were playing (or entertaining). Now it's non -stop 24/7, everybody has a story to tell, and it becomes obnoxious after a period of time and you get to the point where you just tune it all out.

Re: Len Pastabelly Slams & Praises Redskins

I really have not followed what LP has written prior to the past five years but what he says in alot of his articals I have at sometime read on this site. I'm not sure if he hates the skins but more of he has not liked how the team has opperated under Snyder.

Re: Len Pastabelly Slams & Praises Redskins

how could you say snyder isnt to blame, he's the one who hires everybody........and agrees to the signings, and he makes more decisions than you know about. He should not have let gibb's have the gm position, and vinny has obviously been miserable, where did that start....snyder. Yes he pays the bills......pooorly

We simply have no idea whether Danny has had any say in anything since Gibbs returned. My guess is no, Danny worships Gibbs so much that I cannot see Danny dictating anything to Joe.
