On 4th and 7 the QB fumbled the snap and the scramble was on. I don't know who got it but it didn't matter. The ball was down and DeMatha had another championship handed to them by Good Councel. Class of '82. Steve Smith (Oakland Raiders FB) and Rogers Alexander (LB) were starters for a national championship team at Penn State.
The DeMatha - Good Counsel has become the best HS rivalry in the region. Three straight dramatic finishes in the league championship game - doesn't get better than that.
