Based on the info he usually gets (not to be confused w/his speculation), I'd trust it.
I couldn't open this link, was it from JLC's insider?
I hope Jansen's deal is a sign of things to come (& Betts' deal).

The link is now fixed so you should be able to open it now (my apologies) and the author was JLC.

right, as I noted, that was him speculating & not reporting.
Maybe JLC is basing that opinion on past experience, but the Skins hopefully have learned their lesson on dealing w/their own players & not trying to low ball them.

I don't think that Allen was as much of a factor as you believe.
He missed 5 games.
His legs were S-H-O-T! he could not get to the second level or the corner anymore. He was L-O-S-T in space.

He is a HOFer (whatever that means) in my opinion, and he was one of my favorite players.

It looks like the Dockery negotiations are stalled......

Whoever signs Dock should beware that it is likely that he will kick back and take the next two years off. From his perspective the hardest part of his career is over. He drops weight and gets with the program just in time for his contract year. Now it's back to loafing like he did before.

nice to hear a fan without the biased blinders on. Allen's last couple of seasons in Dallas were played on strictly reputation only. one of the best guards of all time, he should have retired at least 2 years ago. simply cannot run anymore

I agree. Allen is still nasty but he isn't what he once was, his legs are nearly done as you mentioned. He shouldn't have gone to Hawaii this year.
