One more interesting fact: since these guys were cuts, they can sign somewhere anytime between now and next season. We (the NFL, not the Redskins) could have a big FA splash in February.

wow, if true, I could see Lavar retiring. If he wants to play, he's gonna have to sign at bargain basement price, maybe vet min.
I'd love to see him come back, but it ain't happenin. How about signing Petigout for depth? I'm really surprised they would cut him, maybe his injury is pretty bad. |

Bad attitude, YES. He has the skills but do we REALLY want him? Agreed, he would be an improvement over a lot of ppl we have on the roster now but, screw Lavar. Especially after he talked all that smack last year. Petitgout is quality but, as hard as it is to say, I dont think we have the cheddar or cap space. Morton is good but he's old news. We dont have another place for a friggin punt returner.

The last thing we need to do is sign any of these guys. Lavar's knee is probably shot - we need youth, not a banged up linebacker who has been in the league for 7 years. Petitgot is a 8 year veteran who is banged up - I'll take my chances on a lesser known healthy lineman. And Chad Morton is not needed at all as we already have ARE and more than enough at RB even with the departure of Duckett.

Not that I am advocating bringing back LeVar because I'm not but didn't Eagles fans all say Jeramiah Trotter was done in Philly and didn't he and the organizatiuon part ways pretty bitterly?

If he can't walk or run he is no better than I would be. I would cost a lot less and wold even get water for the guys if they needed some.
