I gotta say, he was a very sore thumb playing next to the 4 fingers on the Broncos line last year.

Lions might go after one of the D-linemen that we want

Re: Broncos-Lions Swap Will Change Draft Boards
I think we need to really watch how free agency goes till we will have a good idea of how the draft might look. What if the Raiders sign Garcia? Will they still draft Russell or will they switch gears to Calvin Johnson? Would Calvin get by the Lions now with all of there wide out picks or by The Bucs? We really can't make a Mock draft until at least next week when we have a better idea of what teams needs are at the top of the draft including our own.

Re: Broncos-Lions Swap Will Change Draft Boards
Foster did start in Denver for several years. He's not elite but he is better than serviceable. Why would they take him in the trade if they weren't going to play him? It'd be wasted value. I mean look at it this way.
If they don't think enough of Foster to start him and they already have a decent RB in Jones then they traded a top 10 CB for two role players and a late first rounder. To me they have to think Foster starts for them to make that deal. |

I can't believe I'm agreeing with Don Banks twice in one day.

Re: Broncos-Lions Swap Will Change Draft Boards
I guess Tatum Bell & Kevin Jones make a decent backfield. I just figured with their poor WR draft history and the emergence of Roy Williams, Calvin Johnson wouldn't be their first choice, and Adrian Peterson looks like the next biggest impact player to me.
