No way, more like a #1.
This year is going to be a statement year for CP I do believe.

Just think CP & LB that's one heck of a one, two punch.

Trade BETTS are you kiddin? Why in the world would you think that's a smart move?
I sure don't.

in my opinion, rock cartwright, or someone else, can handle the 8-10 carries a game that ladell betts is going to get. and he also fumbles alittle too much for my liking

Trading Betts is our best move IMO. His value will never be so high and I trust Rock or Sellers to carry the load when he's out shortly. We could draft a RB late in this draft or next draft.

i hate to admit it but i agree with dmek, not trading betts now does risk letting his stock drop considering his butter fingers. And last time i checked when rock stepped in for a couple carries he killed it.

This is a good pickup by the Ravens.

Re: MaGahee to Baltimore

if we were going to trade betts, the value would have been better two weeks ago when more teams were still looking for backs.

I wish two third rounders were all we had to give up for Portis.

I am sorry, but Rock will not be able to produce what Ladell can for us. Trading Betts would be a mistake. Portis, and Betts are going to be a great one-two punch for us next year.

when betts went down under spurrier, rock did pretty well. I don't think the YPC were very far apart.

Re: MaGahee to Baltimore

great move by baltimore. Newsome is a great gm. We give up the best cb and a number 2 pick for a a rb. Wish we could get newsome here. I hate baltimore but was a great move.

Re: MaGahee to Baltimore

Cartwright is a very solid back. The problem with trading Betts is that we would have to select a RB on day two to replace Betts on the roster. A guy who we can trust with carries if either Portis or Rock goes down.

Trading Ladell becomes an issue ONLY if Portis can't start a game. Rock could start in his place, but what happens when you want to run the ball 30 times a game? You are really stretching Rocks ability.
