Re: Im so depressed

I'm depressed because we relive the same 4 topics over and over again. I'll be glad when the draft is done.

Re: Im so depressed

I'm with everyone else. When I sit around on Sundays, I HATE that there really is nothing to watch all day until Family Guy or the Simpsons come on. Normally, I'm nursing a hangover, so I don't want to go outside or do anything that requires effort. Football used to be my hangover cure, mainly because I'd start drinking again.

LaVarr, Ramsey, Smoot/Pierce, and LDS, in no particular order, followed by the NFL Draft, TC, PS, and regular season.

Am I the only one going through this? Does it get any better with time? Man I should start an AA type meeting for people addicted to football. Or an AA meeting for people who hate AA.
I'm the say way bro. I don't even watch any other sports anymore. No way can I sit down on a Sun afternoon and watch a full NBA game, or hockey and baseball. Football rules. I like watching the major golf tournaments. All I have to say is thank god for NFL Network. Total Access always has good football stuff and it's a great thing for the diehards who just can't get enough football. Plus the America's Game series is just fantasic. This Thurs. is the 82 skins. But the worst month for me is June and July. But at least you know football is right around the corner.

Same here. I don't start feeling it until Jun, Jul. August there's enough going on until regular season hits. But June is really brutal.

Become a Terps fan. College B-Ball season is really just heating up after the NFL season comes to an end. It is the perfect supplement. I did not think I would ever be a basketball fan but once you get into it, it is really very exciting. And when March Madness ends it is time to focus on the DRaft!

Re: Im so depressed

no football on sundays is just flat out horrible. baseball is another sport over the years, if your name isnt hernandez its ramirez, if its not rodriguez its cordero or something, not so fond of it anymore, none the less half the league is juicing up on roids just to swing a bat. basketball is ok, but i watch the playoffs which is really decent. the best of the offseason is now, because my HEELS are still in the maddness!

Football is a GREAT avocation for one's life. But unless you are playing football at the pro level or coaching football at the Division 1-A college level or higher, it really should not be the single focus of your life. And football should never cause you to feel "depressed" or in a way that makes your heart sink when you can't be part of "football fandom".

For your sake, I really hope your note here was an exageration or some kind of hyperbolic attempt at humor. If not, get help... Quickly!

wow. you are really living up to your name on this one.

Re: Im so depressed

I've been a Skins fan my whole life, but I joined this site the week the season started last year. And this is the first fan forum site I've ever been a member of. So this is the first offseason I've had a place like this to ramble on about the Skins. It makes the layoff more bearable, but football rules all sports fo sho.

Re: Im so depressed

I feel ya 100%. Its tough this time of year, but it gets a little better as time goes by. Ive always been a fan and started following the skins on a daily basis about 4-5 yrs. ago. Thats when it really got difficult in the offseason. Damn the internet!! Just hang tough bro, itll be here before you know it.

Oh and on a side note, unless you have a phd certificate hanging on your wall, dont judge or criticize peoples feelings or emotions on a FAN site for FANS just because your high horse sitting ass cant relate or does not agree.
I mean sreiously, to put someone down and say they need counseling just because they are jonesing for some football, maybe you should give dr. phil a call yourself.

Re: Im so depressed

I miss the regular season but honestly I appreciate the break. The NFL Network helps to ease the pain, I was away on vacation last week and I really missed the NFLN.
