Re: What's Arch gonna say???
what is he going to say? the same thing every player says when they leave. coaches dont speak to them, have no idea what is going on, why they are sitting, why they are being lied to, organization is in disaray. isn't that what they all say. I think we are lucky to get his contract off our books, but when are GW and Gibbs going to be held responsible for these type of moves? Brunell(2 bad years, vs 1 so so year) Lloyd(10mil up front, unproven) Randel El(10mil up front, 30catches??) Carter(10mil up front, played well in 4 or 5 games) Arch(highest paid safety in history, we get 6th rounder) Barrow never played a game, kenny wright, mike rumph, troy vincent? the bad moves far outweigh the good. I really wish we could turn things around regarding the personel moves and player evaluations. Every "expert" in the NFL said Arch was going to struggle, wont adjust, but we throw millions out, and what happens. Hey, I thought Arch would do well here, I may have been a little optomistic i guess. we always bitch about this front office / organization, but they really haven't given any really good reasons not to bitch or complain. hopefully they will soon.

We NEED a well polished GM to make personnel decision's. Let the coach's coach. Let the guys that have all there time dedicated to picking the correct talent, such as a GM... to work with Joe do there job. To me it's only common sense.

Re: What's Arch gonna say???
Poor Bear fans... they were listing his combine stats from his rookie year.
Chicago Bears Message Boards - Archuleta's 2001 combine stats I had to say something.

But, selecting players by name recognition, poor concepts of roster fits, over-paying for one player when you might have signed three good role players, and dumping a guy who will likely start for a Super Bowl caliber defense for a sixth round draft choice are evidence of the need for a good, strong general manager. The whole crappy deal is on the front office, not Archuleta. |

Re: What's Arch gonna say???
Adam got alot of heat from the media and skins fans. Arch is a private and quit guy. I got to meet him at fedex last year and I asked him how he has taken everything and his reply was I will continue to work hard and play hard because that's who I am. Generic yes but a soft spoken guy. None of us would complain one bit if we looked for a new job and the company said here is 25 mill go to work. More then likley we could care less what anyone has to say we would sit back and watch our money pile up. Let's just wish him luck and by the way PRO BOWL 2008 you heard it here first

Re: What's Arch gonna say???
Anyone else hear his comments on Washington Post Live yesterday?
I caught a little bit of it this morning on Sportsrise and he didn't trash the Skins as much as some players in the past have (maybe it was because he was on a DC show). The website for the show doesn't have the audio of the interview, but it does have a hot second of Springs talking about AA but it's nothing we haven't hear. Arch basically said that last year he "hit rock bottom" and he hopes to learn and grow from it. He also said he wouldn't speak about his time in DC too much more, but who knows how much of that is true. He said it was true that some coaches didn't speak to him for half the season, but he didn't specify which coaches. Maybe he was trying to cover his ass because he was the ESPN article source, or maybe he really just feels like he had a terrible season and a clean and clear break is the best thing for everyone.

Re: What's Arch gonna say???
what is it going to say for Greg Williams if archeluta goes out and has a monster season for the bears? coaches are supposed to put players in a position to succeed

Re: What's Arch gonna say???
He'll probably put on a smug face and say something like "well that's good that he can succeed in an elementary system after he failed to grasp my complex scheme."
