Re: What are you drinking?
I just got back from a bachelor party in Atlantic City and just thinking about drinking again makes me feel pretty sick.
I just yakked on my keyboard.

Re: What are you drinking?
The only time I have ever started a fight in my life was on 40's of old english high grav.
I was at this chicks house and just started pounding them, I think we bought like a case of em or something. Later on, I ended up passing out in the bathroom. They had an old grandmother that lived there and so someone had to move me so grandma didn't find drunkie all sloppy in the bathroom. My cousin was elected to come move me, and tried picking me up. For whatever reason (I was totally blacked out, I don't remember anything) I wanted to stay in the bathroom so bad that I punched him in the face. He was drunk too so we scuffled and finally he just gave up on moving me. My friends Mom just came up and asked me nicely and I got right up and went into a different room. When I woke up I saw my cousins black eye and started laughing and asking what he fell on to mess his face up. I felt terrible when I found out that I slugged him, but there was no beef. I just got made fun of and called a meat head for about a year. Till this day, I have never touched malt liquor. I do miss being able to get drunk off of pocket change though.

Re: What are you drinking?
Guinness, Black and Tans, Heineken Light, Sam Adams Light, Corona Light w/lime.
Not to sound stuck up but in my old age I stay away from the cheap stuff. The "cheapest" I'll go for is maybe Miller Lite if in a pinch. I figure I've had a lifetime of cheap crap like the Beast, Old Mil, Keystones, Busch, etc. I can't stomach it anymore. |

Re: What are you drinking?
A while back I tried a six pack of Brooklyn Brewery's Chocolate Stout and I have to say it was very, very good. I highly recommend it. Very strong and full bodied beer, high alcohol content too, something like 10%. Check it out if you're a big beer fan! It has a very intense flavor that just hits you sip after sip. 2-3 of these babies and you'll be feeling great.

Re: What are you drinking?
Domestic- Yeungling is the best. Southpaw is ok too. Its made by the the people who bottle Icehouse.
Imported- CORONA!!!!!! Cheap- uhhh....i guess i'll go Southpaw again. Its CHEAPY CHEAPY but very good. Either that or Natty baby! 40 0z.-come on now. What kinda question is that? Maybe a mix of Colt 45 and OE is best. Nah, just Colt. Liquor- Blue Motorcycles, all day, everyday. Either that or triple shots of Goldschlager with Corona's behind em. HAIL!!!!!

Brewers Alley is great as well. Awesome beers, and $12.95 lobster dinners on Thursdays. Get a giraffe. 6 beers for the price of 5, and you can get your Iranian friend to drink out of it. You can find Brewers Alley beers at Isabella's and G. Hunter's in Frederick as well. Robh - yeah, unless you want Upper MoCo's high school reunion, avoid Bailey's and The Greene Turtle in G'town. Check out Pelican Pete's. Decent beer prices and great food. Domestic: AMD got me "hooked" on Red Hook ESB. Good stuff. Anything by Sam Adams. Anchor Steam is another quality beer. And I love microbrews on tap (Dogfish Head, Brewer's Alley, Rock Bottom). Imported: Guinness, Smithwick's, Paulaner Hefe-weizen, Amstel Light, Young's Double Chocolate Stout, Beck's, Boddington's, Sapporo, Singha. Cheap: Pabst Blue Ribbon or Bud Select.

Re: What are you drinking?
What am I drinking?! NOTHING. NOTHING AT ALL RIGHT NOW.
Fiancee and I have said no drinking until May 11th (Our bachelor and bachelorette parties). The last drinks I had, I made sure were my favorites: Domestic: Yuengling. Imported: Corona. Sure, it's boring, but nothing tastes better on a hot, summer afternoon than a Corona with lime. On that same note, Dos Equis lager is pretty damn good if I'm grilling out. Cheap: PBR or Keystone Light. Liquor: Jack Daniel's with two ice cubes.

Re: What are you drinking?
Bohnzie, I had some Redhook Copperhook at the Wizards game last week and that was some of the best beer I've ever had.
Also, I had Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA for the first time on Friday. It pretty much knocked me on my ass, but it was damn good. Domestic: Redhook, Sam Adams (especially Octoberfest), and Yuengling. I just Pete's Wicked Ale for the first time on Friday. I might have to start drinking that more often. Import: I don't drink all that many imports, just by chance. I do like Amstel Light, Dos Equis, Guinness, and Molsen Golden. Cheap: Bud Light mixed with my own tears because I'm drinking Bud Light.

Re: What are you drinking?
TMC, try a lime wedge in a bottle of Dos Equis. It's fantastic.
Also, for some reason I think beer tastes so much better if it's been chilled in a cooler full of ice rather than a fridge. I don't know what it is, but I'd much rather keep beers on ice than in the fridge.

Re: What are you drinking?
I have to say AMD, Dogfish Head, for being as strong as it is, is fairly smooth.
When I drink that at the bar, I have a couple 23s, and then I get up and basically fall back down again.

And my Dos Equis ONLY comes with limes in it. Pretty much any Mexican beer I drink is naked without a lime.

The colder the better with most beers, there's nothing like pounding down an ice cold beer in the heat of the summer. |

Re: What are you drinking?
Much like beer is always better out the tap.

Re: What are you drinking?
Dogfish's IPAs are awesome. Go to the Alehouse in G'burg and drink everything off their taps. I love going there. Their light beer (Lawnmower Light, because the guys who created it likened it to the type of beer you'd want after cutting the yard) is really good. But their IPAs have an awesome bite to them.
Nothing better than beer off the tap. But a bottle or can chilled in a cooler over ice is a very close 2nd.
