yeah I could see them going for a back that would garner a 2nd or 3rd round pick in return, but not a 1st rounder or ogunleye being given up to get a rb. they need to keep their 1st rounder for atleast o-line help and their #1 player to pursue next spring, unless he resigns sometime this year, is gonna be Edgarrin James of the colts cuz both he and harrison r gonna be free agents after this season and u know which of the 2 is gonna get slapped with the franchise tag.

Anyone really think O-gun would be worth a pivotal player in our O line? I don't myself.

Damn. i was afraid of that. (kinda knew it too..). hopefully Gibbs and Bugel can turn this unit into the new Hogs this year, have lots of success and make Samuels want to renegotiate his contract..

I would love to believe this increases them, but I can not see any scenario where we are better off in that regard. It gives Miami more cap room, so the chances of THEM keeping him are greatly increased. And if they don't keep him NOW, it would mean they get a big-time RB for him. We only have one, and no way he is leaving town. We still have an very little shot left with a first or second rounder PLUS Samuels, but I think it would be a bad deal for us. Getting him for a 1st and a WR is now out the window.
