Re: Pottery as 9th Wedding Anny. Gift?

My husband is very grateful that I don't like to wear jewelry.

We only exchange gifts at Christmas. I don't see the point in spending money on stuff we don't really need. We will, however, spend a good chunk of change on football stuff come the end of July. While we're standing in the store we'll look at each other and say "happy birthday anniversary, honey."

Put a postcard of some kind of pottery in a card along with two tickets to Greece so she can pick it out.

Or just a single ticket. :cheeky-sm

FRPLG had the best idea.

Who picked POTTERY as a gift? Could be worse, you could be on the "Clock" anniversary.

Seriously...whoever made up the "modern" list is stupid...APPLIANCES for the 4th? That's a trap.

The modern thirteenth is interesting (textiles). Just give your wife a big bolt of fabric and you're good.

Me and my wife of 7 years are like you and your husband. We do birthdays but usually we just say what we want and its done. We go out to dinner for the other stuff and do christmas. Heck, Christmas we have a fixed budget we spend on each other. Some years I may spend a little more and some years she may spend a little more it goes both ways.
