Re: Respect for the Running Game
I've said it many times, and I'll said it again, I absolutely love that we're under everyone's radar. This team over the past few seasons plays a lot better when we're disrespected and up against the wall. I hope the dissing continues frankly.

Re: Respect for the Running Game
All they do is base their opinions on last year. I'd be willing to be that most of their predicted playoff teams are probably repeats from last year.

Re: Respect for the Running Game
Is it just me or does anyone else think that the Patriots set records next year? Sure, they went nuts in FA, but not the kind of nuts WE went in 2000.

Re: Respect for the Running Game
Shocker.
I'll never understand why so many in the media are always on the Cowboys jock. They haven't won more than 9 games in a season since 2003, yet every year the experts fall all over themselves trying to kiss their asses. |

Re: Respect for the Running Game
If it takes the media disrespect to get our players fired up then we have much bigger problems.

Re: Respect for the Running Game
Bodog gives us the third best odds for most rushing yards next year so far:
NFL Football Team Prop Bets, NFL Team Props at Bodog Sportsbook We are behind Alanta, but that is really attributable to Vick, not just their running backs. And also SD, because of LT - he is just too good and the face of that team We haven't really had too many russing TD's compared to other big running teams (only 19 last year), for a lot of reasons like, being forced to come from behind, trunovers in the redzone, and not really having a dominating power back. I could really see our running game tare it up next year. I just hope Portis can stay in good health, I really want to see him return to form |

I dont get it either. To me the Cowboys are the 3rd best team in the division. I dont even see them making the playoffs this year. Tony Romo will slump down to what he really is: an average QB.

The problem is that there is no depth or insight in any of it. There is really nothing that ESPN can tell me about the Redskins that will be news. I am empowered by sites like this to become my own clearinghouse of knowledge and they have been made obsolete. I think this is another reason they hate Snyder. They know that he knows that they are finished. And he is in the forefront of making that happen. You have fans doing their own highlight films. Who would have thought that was possible? Renaldo Wynn does an interview on a fansite. ESPN is never going to interview a backup DL. But to your point, there is no reason to believe that the Cowboys will be any better than what they have been the last few years.
