Re: Surprise Cuts
Cutting Rock would horrible. Rock busts his ass and makes plays on special teams. And, you know a little guy like him must have an excellent work ethic, they need Rock around so other guys learn how to work just as hard as he does.

Re: Surprise Cuts
Rock ain't going anywhere. He was straight cash on ST last year. Thrash is safe... He's a solid ST'er and probably our biggest WR (not counting Cooley (TE)).
Big Joe might go, if there is questions on his health. Wynn is a great guy but I'm not sure how much he has left and what he contributes to the DL... I would like to ESPY get his chance this year on the roster of 53... Ade could be suseptible if the other CB's and newly drafted LB's play good ST.

Re: Surprise Cuts
Boschetti, Salavea, D. Evans, the Ade & J. Butler or D. Macklin, Fox and/or Doughty on D.
On O, I can't name all the backups we signed, but I don't see any real name cuts there. I threw the ADe in there cause he's got a lot of competition, but he should be the front runner in the #5 cb competition. I'd be shocked if he moved up to 4 ahead of Macklin & Butler. |

Re: Surprise Cuts
Thrash was our best receiver last year. Of course, Moss will easily rebound and be better this year, but I think Thrash at least deserves strong consideration for the No. 2 receiver job.
Not sure what hes done so wrong that he doesn't deserve a look. |

Re: Surprise Cuts
I don't think Macklin makes the roster. Uhh, Stoutmire or Fox might go also. Todd Yoder may get the axe, and Collins is good as gone.

Re: Surprise Cuts
I don't think any major surprises are in the works unless a vet D linemen gets cut or Brunell does go to the Falcons and we keep Palmer on the active squad. It is a gamble, but I sort of like that scenario, just in case JC falters we may have a young kid that still can be groomed for the QB position just in case.

Re: Surprise Cuts
Jansen for sure! His play has fallen off since his injury.
j/k! All of the above mentioned are the usual suspects, I suspect!

Macklin is on a one year deal. He'll have his shot in camp, but unless he improved immensely this offseason, he won't be taking Butler's roster spot, nor Jimoh's. |

Re: Surprise Cuts
i wish they cut rogers. that guy makes me think gwill is a retard sometimes. hopefully he will play better this year because if he doesnt his ass will be gone next year. watch out for lemar marshall getting cut if rocky is as advertised......i still dont think rocky is good, he never stood out in college and so far he hasnt made any plays that make me think he will be good.......GOD I PRAY OUR D IS BADASS like the two years prior to last.
