Re: Kewl Campbell video, check this out!
Yeah, Lloyd touchdown is a joke. CGI has fooled me on some things, but I know when I see a fake.

To all naysayers: If you really think this is fake, I guess you don't have much confidence in Campbell. Honestly, I don't think this is that hard. Is it harder than shooting skeet? I don't think so. This guys spends 10+ every day throwing a football. But hey, believe what you want...

Re: Kewl Campbell video, check this out!
C'mon, it's a fake. I'm not saying he couldn't possibly do it, but to not only hit the first ball and then get them to deflect off to the guys standing there waiting to catch them?? Use some common sense. In all likelihood this video is a simple CGI trick.

Re: Kewl Campbell video, check this out!
It's cool and really, it COULD be real. Completely possible for someone with talent like Campbell.
Now that Rackers one, I've known that's fake since the first time I saw it. This one is a lot more believable than the commercial with Lebron James sinking full court shots like free throws. |

Re: Kewl Campbell video, check this out!
Considering the source though, the same people who made the Rackers one...it's probably fake, but I bet Jason COULD do it...just maybe not on the first attempt.

Re: Kewl Campbell video, check this out!
Does anyone know of any other sites where I can watch this besides Youtube (which is blocked at my work)? I need to make up my own mind as to whether or not this mystery video is real or fake but I can't wait another 3.5 hours to watch it.
If I don't see it in the next 10 minutes I'm going to throw one hell of a hissy fit!

Re: Kewl Campbell video, check this out!
WOW. Im now officially convinced that at least one third of the people on this site are on acid. Folks, this was a commercial for FANTASY football. IT DID NOT HAPPEN. If you believe this actually happened then I have some ocean front property here in WVA for ya. They do these commercials all the time, its not real. Think about it. Campbell would have to throw that second pass like a freakin bullet to intercept the first one, then the ricochet would have to be an act of God.

So in your opinion, Jason Campbell could throw a football down field in the air, then reload and throw a 2nd football twice as fast that would intercept the 1st football at a point where he can actually aim the ricochet. You actually believe that Campbell COULD do that if he wanted to? |

Yes, its harder than shooting skeet. Skeet involves intercepting a slow moving large object (incomparison to a bullet) using a bullet which is traveling 1000 times faster than the target. Also, the people that are saying Campbell can do this are saying he can actually control where the footballs go after impact! I mean c'mon folks, its a cool ad, but to say its real or that Campbell could do this is crazy. |

Re: Kewl Campbell video, check this out!
If read the Blog entry from yesterday's practice CS was in the Redskins tent and they watched the video on a lap top. They said CS laughed, if it was true dont you think the players would have already known about this little talent? it was done at a supposed Redskin park since they are doing it on what looks to be a Redskin helmet.
One other thing, has anyone tossed up to spinning (spiral) footballs in the air and have them bounce of each other. We used to do it as a drill for WR's were they would bounce them off each other and catch them with one hand. I bring this up because the ball would only be tossed a few feet over the WR's heads and the balls would bounce in two totally different directions and speeds. That was to perfect to be true... try it toss two footballs up and let them bump as they are spinning, they are not going to fall as perfectly as those two did. it has nothing to do with Campbells ability as a QB. |
