Re: What were you thinking when Jason went down?
When he first went down, I was actually pretty calm...but then my mind kicked in and I was like, there goes the damn season and went into a fit.

Re: What were you thinking when Jason went down?
I was at the game and I was pumped because it was a sweet play to Cooley down the middle on a perfectly throw ball. I look back and realize Jason is lying on the ground and I just froze. I was really worried he was done. After seeing him walk off the field and then back out of the locker room later with his pads still on and his knee wrapped, I had a feeling if it was serious he would be off for more treatment if they were worried it was worse.

Re: What were you thinking when Jason went down?
I thought he was seriously injured when he was laying there rolling around holding his knee. When I saw the reply it looks alot like the same hit Doug Williams took in the superbowl. DW came back in the game and had an amazing game so I hope JC comes back and has an amazing season.

Re: What were you thinking when Jason went down?
I started yelling at my steelers friend because i thought it was a late hit. I was looking upfield when it happened and i didn't notice till i looked back. I also thought it was casey hampton and i started saying that the steelers were dirty and what not. I moved in the game to better seats but at the time i didn't have a television to look at and i didn't see a replay because the stadium didn't show it.

I did the same thing at the game to my Steelers friends. My one buddy who is a steelers fan felt really bad, he went in to the bar and waited to hear what the prociangose (sp) was and came out and gave me the good news. |

I thought we were pretty much fucked. My cowboy fan neighbor was even feeling bad for us.

Re: What were you thinking when Jason went down?
Wasn't watching, thank goodness, so by the time I heard about it, it was diagnosed a bruise.
Here's the latest from JLac/Cindy: Posted at 11:38 AM ET, 08/19/2007 Campbell Update/Sunday Morning Jasno is off today, but he's still working the phones and spoke to a person with knowledge of Jason Campbell's status this morning...Here's what we know: Campbell had said last night that he expected the knee to be stiff and sore this morning. The good news is that neither is as bad as they were tanticipating. There is little swelling and he's getting around much like he did last night, when you saw him walking into and out of the press room and climbing those two or three steps to the dais. The feeling today is that they were incredibly lucky with this injury. They really dodged a bullet. I'm heading in to work. Need to get me some coffee. I'll check back in later. Redskins Insider

Re: What were you thinking when Jason went down?
Well since Earthquake told me JC had torn his GPA I freaked in the chat room, thinking GPA was some sort of ligament I never heard of. Of course he was using the school type GPA and had taken many of us for a ride. We need to get Earthquake back...and good!!!!!!!!! I am glad JC will be OK but Rocky and Washington got banged up also. Rocky is OK but never heard about Washington. This stuff doesn't bode well guys. We still have 2 more preseason games to go and guys are dropping like flies.

Re: What were you thinking when Jason went down?
I thought as I watched it, "Damn, that looks bad!" But I didn't think the Redskins season was over. Welcome to the wonderful world of wait and see.

Re: What were you thinking when Jason went down?
you know, i'm starting to think collins struggling last year in preseason was result of the rest of the offense not being where they were suppose to.
collins looks solid at #2 for us. good to know we have a solid backup. bye bye bruny
