Re: Warpath league early evaluation
Yep, I was an auto-draft...because there is no way in hell i'd take a kicker outside my last 2 rounds...

Re: Warpath league early evaluation
Still not worth it.
Fact is, Vinitieri had 113 point last year which wasn't in the top 10. Couple that with the fact that he had only 28 FG attempts last year, and the colts as a team only attempted 26 in each of the past two seasons (04, and 05), it doesn't bode well that he was taken so high. Sure he's a top 4 kicker or so, but 9th round? No way. So what's the difference with a Neil Rackers (2nd ranked kicker in athlon) and Jason Hanson (15th ranked kicker)??? Nothing really. Rackers had 116 points last year, and Hanson had 117.

I know, I know. Kidding. Normally I couldn't give less of a crap about kickers.

I got Scobee with my 2nd to last pick. Scobee was a top 10 kicker last year with 117 points, and should project to see more points this year, but if he doesn't, guess what, I'll drop his ass and pick up another one.

Re: Warpath league early evaluation
Thanks for breaking it down for us jsarno that was fun to read.
Though I might not have the best RB's I think Reggie Bush is going to double his output from a year ago. He's really bulked up and now knows what it takes to succeed in the NFL. Chris Cooley should have his best year ass well and with Turner in S.D Rivers might be my starter by week 2.Time will tell but I feel pretty good about my team too. Championship.

Bulger is going to have a huge season! I see him as the #3 best fantasy QB. With Cooley you will have a good team, but your RB's are weak. If Norwood actually sits Dunn, then it will be good for you, but I just don't see that. Bush will not double his output for a simple reason, he won't get enough touches. He will likely get more rushing yards, but I doubt he will beat his td total by much if at all, and he will be hard pressed to get more than the 88 catches he had last year. If I were N.O., I'd just hand it over to Bush and tell Duece to be the back up. But that's me.
