Re: Andy Reid's Son Passes Lyndsay Lohan Driving School Exam
Even more of a reason to set the standard: This stuff WILL NOT be tolerated. What kind of message does it send to the younger siblings if their older brothers can get away with this kind of shit and still have all of mommy and daddy's support??

I see your point and I agree, however if you or I turned out to be screw ups wouldn't our fathers feel the least bit responsible? I know that whenever my kids screw up I blame myself and punish them. So absolutely, they should not be coddled, but that type of parenting needed to be present all along and probably wasn't. |

FYI these boys get whatever is comming to them by both the law and Andy. I was just saying that if I was Andy I would retire just to yank a knot in their asses. |

Re: Andy Reid's Son Passes Lyndsay Lohan Driving School Exam
On second thought I want him to retire for other reasons. I would never leave a job just to straighten out my kids so why should he. What it all comes down to is he needs to make the best decision for himself.

Yeah you cant just quite right before the start of the season because your grown sons are misbehaving. Its not like you wife found out she has cancer and only has a couple of months to live. I personaly would love to see him quite right now though. I dont like it when we beat teams due to injuries of key players, but locker turmoil and coaching disfunction are great. |

A career is temporary. Kids are for a lifetime, unless they get drunk or high and die in a car accident. No one would think bad of him for tending to things at home. In fact, it needs to be done, so many would think more highly of him as a person. |

Re: Andy Reid's Son Passes Lyndsay Lohan Driving School Exam
You're probably speaking on principle and I respect that, but your decision might be a little different if you made millions like he has. It's not feasible for most people to do it. I would change jobs if my kids needed attention and I had a job like he did that keeps me on the road most of the time though.

Family first, especially if you have already made millions and more than you will need for your lifetime.

I agree 100% Reid should just keep on coaching. He needs to give them some tough love right now. Both kids are grown up and they know right from wrong. It comes a point in a man's life where you need to start being a man. Perhaps some jail time will straighten these kids out.

I would say family comes first if someone is ill. But if your kids are grown men and they are going around acting like hood rats then let them fend for themselves.

I feel bad for Reid and his family. I'm not going to pass any judgement as to what he should or shouldn't be doing... I just hope in the end he can get things worked out for the best.

Re: Andy Reid's Son Passes Lyndsay Lohan Driving School Exam
I don't see how taking time off would help his kids situations. They need to be men and realize that they have substance abuse problems. Reid can't do that for them. I have had problems in the past and the only way they can get through is to want to quit themselves. No one can tell them they have to quit. If they do it probably won't help. It has to be a personal decision.

Re: Andy Reid's Son Passes Lyndsay Lohan Driving School Exam
Yes I agree in part to that, but there does come a time (especially if you are faced with incarciration (no experience there) that you have to look at the decisions you have made in life and say hey I fucked up. I'm not of any use to my fellow man if I continue down this path.
