Re: Reche Caldwell

I hate to say this, but I don't think that we are going to sign a receiver unless there is an injury. We just signed that no-name WR to be our 5th. I doubt they cut him a day after they sign him. Not very Redskins-like!

Re: Reche Caldwell

I would love to bring Caldwell in to battle Lloyd for that 3rd WR spot.

Re: Reche Caldwell

I'm suprised they didn't look at McCardell.
They were looking at him before and I think I'd rather have this geizer than the guy from GB. And I certainly dont want that guy from the Raiders...we dont need a 5th receiver with an attitude...we already have Lloyd for that...

Here's the deal...if they passed on McCardell now in favor of a no-name...odds are, we are gunna live and die with the 4 in front of him, so get used to it and start cheering our wideouts...aint no change gunna happen now!

Re: Reche Caldwell

Out of curiosity, when was the last time Lloyd exibited an attitude problem? During pre-season he seemed to have settled in quite nicely. Maybe I missed something but he seems to have learned a bit from the talk he had with Papa Gibbs.

Re: Reche Caldwell

One thing people don't know is that Caldwell was actually in the running for the Madden 07 cover before narrowly losing out to Sean Alexander. Here is a copy of the never released cover.....

Re: Reche Caldwell

I dont know that much about Caldwell, but if they cut him loose and kept Jabar Gafney{who couldnt cut it with the Texans or Eagles} over him then theres something wrong with him

Re: Reche Caldwell

I don't think there was anything wrong with Caldwell, didn't he lead the Pats last year in receptions? I think the Pats find themselves very deep at receiver. The Skins should give the guy a look, he would be a decent No. 2 receiver IMO, but at this point with what little Lloyd has shown us, my elderly granny could compete with Lloyd. Geez, have some pride and step it up Lloyd.

Re: Reche Caldwell

JLac said in a recent blog that they won't likely sign a vet WR until after game one to avoid various contract issues. So maybe one of these guys is being targeted, but for after the 9th.

Is that a Lemur on Caldwell's back? (Not as bad a monkey on your back, but still a worry...)

Are you actually going to add anything of value to this site, or just declare your hatred of Brunell at every turn?

If it's the latter, don't bother staying here.

that is a good point as well. I really dont think we need another WR so badly. If we needed one so bad we could have gone after Keyshawn or Satllworth or anothr WR.
