Re: Redskins vs. Eagles predictions
Redskins 21
Eagles 20 I think we see our passing game improve with Moss catching the ball and helping to extend some drives. Our pass d has to improve and hopefully our coaches have worked on Carlos a little bit. Eagles may look past us and be thinking about running up the score to show everyone GB was a fluke. In the end, our D shows last year was the real fluke.

Re: Redskins vs. Eagles predictions
Here is one thing to consider with the predistion - how much will Lito Shepard being out hurt the Eagles pass defense? I predict a win for the Skins and also think we will beat the Giants next week to roll out the season at 3-0. I think our offense will be fine - I think a lot of people are forgetting that the Dolphins defense is pretty darn good and if we can roll up almost 200 yards rushing on them I can't see why we won't have a decent day against the Eagles. The one thing that I am worried about is the Skins generally don't play well on Monday night, but lets hope we shine on the center stage.

Re: Redskins vs. Eagles predictions
I'm predicting another W for us, and hopefully we can rough up that overrated hack, Donovan McNabb, in the process! Andy Reid will wish that his two malcontent kids would get in trouble again just so he won't have to witness any more of the the Skins total annihilation of the Eagles!

Re: Redskins vs. Eagles predictions
We all have our opinions. I think McNabb is about the most overrated QB of the last ten years. I mean, what game can you remember, when the Eagles really needed him, did McNabb show up and play brilliant?

Re: Redskins vs. Eagles predictions
Let's see. If Jason Campbell got us to three straight NFC Championship games, plus a Super Bowl would you be saying the same thing about him? I doubt it. Wasn't Mcnabb having a great year ( w/out TO ) last year before he got hurt? Doesn't McNabb have 153 TD's and 73 Ints and completes almost 60% of his passes? Plus he has great mobility that breaks the defense? C'mon. I know we all hate the Eagles but McNabb is a very very good QB.

Moreover, name the last time McNabb had ANY HoF-type WR, TE, or RB at his disposal. I like Brian Westbrook as a fantasy player, but the guy has one 1,000 yard rushing season. With the exception of Tom Brady, most top-notch QBs have a Jerry Rice, Emmitt Smith, etc. Not so with McNabb. That man has done more with less than anyone except Tom Brady. |

Sorry dude, but struggling against the Dolphins isn't exactly the mark of a turn-around. There's still a lot of work to do, and one week isn't enough time to work out all the obvious kinks. Expect Jim Johnson to have something special planned for Stephon Heyer or whomever starts at RT. Don't forget folks, the 'Phins had the ball on our 8-yard line towards the end of the fourth quarter before they self-destructed with penalties. That game could have easily gone the other way, and the mood around here would be quite a bit different. The way the Eagles have had our number over the last few years, (except 2005), I don't see any way we can win this game in Philly -- at home, we have a chance. But not this week. Eagles 28 Skins 13 |
