Re: Around the NFL (Week 2)
By my math, Lavar earned $667,000 per tackle he actually made in NY. That was the biggest rip off in sports until OJ tried to get "his" stuff back. J-Dawg

Re: Around the NFL (Week 2)
Go Green Bay. They aren't looking too bad and now the G-men are 0-2. Looks good.
If the Fins can beat the Boys and we can handle the Eagles this will be an amazing weekend for me.

Re: Around the NFL (Week 2)
Yeah, the Giants got their asses kicked, and I loved it. What a great way for Favre to get the most games won record. I was suprised by the Browns-Bengals, but when those two teams meet something extraordinary usually happens. It's not every day Carson Palmer throws 6 touchdown passes but still loses the game.
I haven't seen much of the Dallas-Miami game, but last I checked the score was 3-0 in favor of Miami, n the 1st quarter was ending. If Miami wins I will love it lol. And how about those Texans? They actually look pretty good this year.

Re: Around the NFL (Week 2)
Man, if the Bengals D can make Derek Anderson look that good, I wonder what kinda numbers JC and Portis would put up against them lol. Derek Anderson with 5 touchdowns and 1 pick, and Jamal Lewis going over 200 yards? Sheesh.

so I won't. Anyway, heres an observation as not to waste a post on self promoting garbage: the Chiefs are probably the worst team in a few years. Yes, that includes the 2004 Bears and 2006 Raiders. |

Re: Saints Game
GTripp, tooting your own horn? You don't say.
I didn't understand the Schaub trade since he had played so sparingly in regular season games. It's not that I thought that Schaub was a bad QB, it's that I thought there was such a little basis upon which one could judge the guy. What tapes were the Texans personnel people looking at? His college tapes from 5 years ago? The preseason? Still, it looks like he might be the real deal. |

That's really true, and whenever the Browns and Bengals meet it seems like it's always gonna be a close high scoring game that can go either way.

Gawl dang Cowboys! I hate Romo but I've got to admire his ability to keep a play alive when it breaks down.
