Maybe NFL Network had a premonition he was going to say that, hence his 'Why Does Peter King Hate the Skins' thread

I'm starting to feel the same way about Peter King. BC isn't coming here if Gibbs leaves. He's going to want to run a 3-4 defense. We don't have 3-4 personel. Plus why would we turnover the coaching staff when you have two VERY PROVEN coordinators with head coaching experience? Not even Snyder can screw that up. GW will take over once Gibbs leaves.

peter king is the biggest dumbass in sports journalism. My 10-month old daughter knows as much about football as he does. He lives in jersey and hates the Redskins. If the Redskins make the playoffs I'm driving to his house and taking a crap on his lawn because that's what he knows best: crap.

I agree with most of you in thinking no way BC comes here. GW has the inside track on the job here... esp. if he has the opp. to keep Al here to run the O isnt that why they are "Assitant Head Coach offense/Defense" let GW run the Special teams too, Joe will be working in a pres/ gm capacity. Joe came here to bring stability to a unstable org. Hes gonna make sure we are good when he leaves. GW will be the HC and DC Al is gonna run the offense and call the plays... plain and simple bc. Joe wont let THE DANNY screw bad again up while he is around, and hes gonna stay around just not as HC for too long........ And screw that butterball Peter King....

Thought he was too abrasive and had no true leadership skills. Then again, he was probably comparing him to Joe Gibbs. That's not to say that GW won't be the next head coach, just that it's not a lock and that he's here more so because of Gibbs than Snyder.

But either way, I think Gibbs is here at least two more years.

I can't stand Peter King as a sports journalist. I think he has vendettas, is not truthful in his commentating and manufactures stories a lot of the time!

Some coaches forte are as coordinators, GW's fits that mold just like Norv. He's no head coach material, now Russ Grimm on the other hand....

I'm speculating here, but I think it's a good possibility that Gibbs extends and keeps coaching us after 2009.
That wouldn't surprise me at all. I could see him doing a short extension, 2-3 years tops.

If Campbell really blossoms, I think Gibbs is going to want to stick around a bit longer for the ride.

Yeah, it all depends on how this season turns out. So far so good, and it would be hard to imagine Gibbs walking away and letting someone else reap the rewards of the work he put in.

Peter King is a speculative commentator and sports writer that occasionally makes outrageous predictions to draw attention to him.

I would love to be watching "Inside the NFL" and see Sean Taylor come flying in and lay him out while his fat a$$ sits in that chair talking about how tight he is with the league and his inside sources.

That would be Hilarious !

Cowher has already made a choice and it's the .........Giants ,it was agreed to last season his girls are at Princton and he likes that and no it's 10 mill .......... for 4 years ,it's the reason the Giants gave TC a 1 year contract becuase Bill needed a year.

That would actually make a lot of sense, but are you suggesting that Tom "The Wizard" Coughlin isn't going to salvage the season? Blashpemer!!
