Those are great numbers, stats, and accomplishments, no doubt. But what are the FOOTBALL fans supposed to do? Forget the game and just watch what #4 does because we are so privileged to see him play. There are other players in the GB team, and there are 31 other teams in the NFL. Why make the NFL all about Favre?

I was only addressing the comment that Brett Favre "is a gunslinger, that's all".

As far as the media hard-on for Favre, I don't care one way or the other.

sorry man but brett favre to me is the QB of all time and i'm sorry you dont like it but they did beat the redskins but hey sorry that you thought the even had a chance against the packers but hey at least you beat miami (barely) but hey good luck to the redskins i'm sure they'll get better someday....

the guy has earned my respect and admiration... .I've been watching him for a long long time and he's still playing amazingly well. Dude has balls and he's a hell of a football story. No, wait F that the guy is an NFL Legend, and Madden should be all over his nuts.

I'm sick of hearing about goddamn Tony Romo. Let the guy win for a few years consistantly before you crown him the second coming, ya know?

My thoughts exactly! On both accounts...I've always liked Favre, he's played the QB position with the attitude of a linebacker!

I agree. The Packers are going to be pissed. One good thing is I bet the whole team got to watch this game. Except for Portis and Cooley. I bet they are in AC as we speak.

One possible attribution for this is that teams don't learn nearly as much from a win as they do from a loss. I think that's why its so hard to go 16-0, is that other teams are losing and working hard to correct mistakes, and your team is just rolling with whatever has been working.

So the Packers are going to play us a lot tougher than when they played the Bears. However, if we play defense like we did against the Lions, its not going to matter. I think we are better than GB, but it's not going to be an easy victory.
