It's not a question of if he will be cut but when.

Re: Lloyd doesn't make trip to Meadowlands

Re: Lloyd doesn't make trip to Meadowlands
I understand there are cap implications, but I would rather we make use of the roster spot he is taking up now. We're 5-3 which a number of conference games around the corner, and we're thin at O-line, CB, and WR (effective WRs, anyway). Lloyd won't garner more than a 6th round pick in the offseason (at best), those folks often don't pan out anyway, and we have real needs now. It also removes from the locker room a presence that surely has to be a pretty negative one right now, now matter how hard the other WRs cheered when Lloyd caught his first pass about 5 games into the season. I say let's cut our losses, literally.

Re: Lloyd doesn't make trip to Meadowlands
Cant we just give this guy the TO treatment at this point, and just send him home and pay him and decide what to do with the Salary in the offseason. I've been one of the biggest honks for this guy, I kept wanting to give him chance after chance because I really do think he has a real talent....but at this point enough is enough just cut our losses and move on. Theres no point in suiting this guy up every week.

Re: Lloyd doesn't make trip to Meadowlands
Something's wrong here, only PLAYERS on the team should be allowed to make noise, he is uneccesary, and he is going somewhere else. Why not trade him for a replacement on the O-line, we need something there.

Re: Lloyd doesn't make trip to Meadowlands
The guy acts like he has a chip on his shoulder against the team when all we've done is give him chance after chance. This guy is worse than TO, at least TO had a mouth and a good game to back it up (or at least try to). This guy just has a mouth and does nothing.
I dunno what kinda team would want a plague like Lloyd, but hats off to em.

Re: Lloyd doesn't make trip to Meadowlands
If nobody had said anything about this, I wouldn't have been able to tell the difference. If Brandon Lloyd were shot into space or buried 20,000 leagues under the sea would anyone notice the difference at this point? I think maybe he and Gibbs should drive out in the woods and when Brandon gets out to use the bathroom, Gibbs should speed away quickly.

Re: Lloyd doesn't make trip to Meadowlands
he must really be a cancer, because every time i see James Thrash on the field with the offense, it makes me want to puke

Re: Lloyd doesn't make trip to Meadowlands
Can we just deactivate him and put him on the "Keyshawn" plan? That way we could at least free up his roster spot for now with another player...

Re: Lloyd doesn't make trip to Meadowlands
OMG our season is over...what will we do without Lloyd?
He can't beat out 3 old guys...he simply isn't NFL material.
