Re: Sean Taylor injury?
Let's hope Taylor is back next week, if not our defense is going to be in for a long game.

Re: Sean Taylor injury?
Huge loss if Taylor can't play against Dallas. TO has looked downright afraid of Taylor in the past. Note that Philly didn't make a single big play downfield until Taylor was out of the game. After Fletcher, he might be the most indispensible player on our D.

If Taylor doesn't play, Dallas will score 40+. I would be willing to put a lot of money on that too. |

Re: Sean Taylor injury?
Taylor need to play centerfield like we did against GB this year. Dallas is pass happy slants, bombs the whole nine yards. ST was really needed I believe if we lose to Dallas our morale as a team will be pretty bad.

Re: Sean Taylor injury?
My girlfriend is a personal trainer, and she explained to me that a 2nd degree sprain usually involves partial tearing, most often the MCL. That is generally the only type of knee sprain that gets a "grade." I don't know how they can label it a grade 2 (involving tearing) without an MRI. Any way you slice it, this sucks. Just plain sucks.
Remember, Chris Samuels had a grade 2 knee sprain the 1st week of training camp and missed a month. And he doesn't rely on speed and cutting the way a safety does.

Re: Sean Taylor injury?
I heard it was a sprained MCL too and hes getting a MRI Monday. Reading this makes a grade 2 sound like at least 3 weeks.
Id rather have him home vs. dallas last game of the season then possibly making it worse next week Stockton Athletic Training:Common Injuries: MCL Sprain |

Re: Sean Taylor injury?
While I agree, there is no question that if ST was on coverage that ball would have been picked or at least batted down. Hell, I don't even think McNabb throws that if ST is back there.
