What happened to that Dallas fan who had a relative that worked in that hospital? They had good insight i would have thought.

Re: Sean Taylor Responsive: CONFIRMED by Vinny Cerrato

According to a poster on Extremeskins, it was reported on the Riggo show that Sean got up and locked the bedroom door and stayed there to listen while his girlfriend was hiding. The door was kicked open and Sean was shot. The EMTs arrived "almost immediately." This same poster reported that Sean is NOT in a coma, but is heavily sedated.

I didn't provide a link because it's a second hand report.

Wow! And 8 days ago some one broke in and left a knife on one of the beds. I’m starting to wonder if this could have been a case of someone not wanting to rob S.T but kill him. I hope the can catch the assholes that did this.

There isn't a doubt in my mind that there was an intent to kill here. The "robber' didn't take anything from Sean's house. Doesn't sound like much of a robbery to me.

I heard about the previous break in, but I didn't hear about the knife being left. That is freaky. Do you have a link?

Re: Sean Taylor Responsive: CONFIRMED by Vinny Cerrato

It really is starting to sound like someone wanted to murder him instead of rob him. If they were robbing the house, why wasn't anything stolen? Either the gunman wanted to make sure that nobody was going to interfere with him stealing shit or he absolutely wanted to kill ST. To think that somebody would want to kill him is absolutely frightening. At least it sounds like he's coming around, I really hope he will be able to help the police find whoever it was. Stay strong ST.

Re: Sean Taylor Responsive: CONFIRMED by Vinny Cerrato

I am not a murderer or anything but if I am going to shoot to kill someone I am not aiming at there leg, I am going for a head shot or chest or something along those lines. and once shot i might shoot a coupld of more times to make sure. I know the seriousness of what happened but not many people go into a shooting thinking I am going to aim at his leg and try to shoot the fermor (sp) artery? It is just to early right now to speculate and it sounds like people maybe trying to stir up the old thuggish way scenario.

That assumes that you are not an idiot, cowardly punk who blasts off a few rounds without aiming much because you want to shoot off a few bullets and run away.

Re: Sean Taylor Responsive: CONFIRMED by Vinny Cerrato

I've always heard if you want to kill someone shot them in the stomach not the head. The guy fired his gun twice at point blank range missing once. So obviously he was a pretty bad shot. The groin area is not that far from your stomach. So I’m thinking the guy might have been really nervous and missed Sean’s stomach twice.

FOX Sports on MSN - NFL - Source: Taylor wakes up from coma

It doesn't give a lot of details, but a FoxSports article is saying that Sean Taylor has emerged from the coma. I'm not sure if it is adding something new or is just putting a new twist on the stuff reported by JLC.
