Re: Sean Taylor Towels.

I was a little disappionted that I didn't get one. I got intop the stadium earlier than I ever have before, and even 40 minutes before kickoff there were none left.
Bets are you will see a few dudes in the parking lot Thursday night selling them. It's just the law of nature, anytime a truck full merchandise is headed somewhere, a few boxes fall off and into the hands of opportunistic capitalists.

Re: Sean Taylor Towels.

If anyone happened to pick up any "extras" I would gladly pay $20 bucks plus shipping. Like I said, I'm trying to get one for my brother (somehow a bigger fan than I am) for Christmas. I would much rather pay one of you guys than somebody on Ebay just trying to make a quick buck.

Re: Sean Taylor Towels.

My boyfriend and I wanted so badly to go to a Redskins game this year, however we simply couldn't afford it. We would love to be one of the lucky one's with one of those towels, but I will never, ever support the exploitation that is taking place on ebay at this terrible time. In his honor I bought 2 of the memorial t-shirts beings sold by the redskins shop. They now hang neatly folded on either side of the stadium flag in our living room. True fans keep their treasures and treasure their memories.

Re: Sean Taylor Towels.

This is the state of the fans within FedEx these days, I'm afraid. They just don't care.

I've been to games before where they're giving away stuff. The people giving it away clearly don't care if you take one or 10. I guess they figure that once it's all gone, their job is over and can go sit down somewhere.

Re: Sean Taylor Towels.

THe selling of all this ST stuff would go on no matter what team this was. Its just a fact of life that some fans for all teams will do this.

Re: Sean Taylor Towels.

There are scumbags from every walk of life looking to make a buck off of anything and everything. This is just another example of how money rules the world.

I think that would be a fair price (maybe $10). The revenue could go to the fund for Sean Taylor's daughter. I wanted to get one for my brother but didn't feel like I should ask for two.

It would be nice if all fans had the opportunity to have one of these.

It sucks to see the ebay sales prices. It shouldn't be about money.

Big sign on Redskins.com says any profits from sales of sean taylor gear will be donated to the trust fund.

ANOTHER class act by the Daniel, in the last week.

Re: Sean Taylor Towels.

My wife just sent some guy from ebay this message-

"I think it's absolutely disgusting that you would want to profit off of someone's unfortunate death. Sean Taylor was a great football player and better yet a great person!! I went to the game yesterday and was lucky enough to recieve a towel but it's because of people like you that others who arrived later didn't. If you were any kind of football fan, or person for that matter, I can't see how you could do this. It makes me very very angry! I would love to have more than one towel to give to some of my family that couldn't make it, but its because of my nature that I didn't do this... have a heart!!"

She said that dude had 6 listed and they were all selling for crazy amounts. I think she said 2 or 3 went for over $100.00! Ridiculous!

If their mass produced and sold is it really the same as having one that was actually at the stadium that day and part of the tribute ceremony?

The Skins are selling them for 4 bucks... and the proceeds go to the memorial fund:

#21 Taylor Rally Towel
