Re: Now Do U Feel My Vibe???

Have to admit with the latest developments, you have to be crazy not to think we can pull it off. Gmen usually own us in NY, even if we do have the better team. Now we win and are still in the thick of it. Minnesota needs to lose tomorrow and hopefully get beat up for us next week. Collins will have to have a great game for us in the Dome. Also, Dallas looked poor against Philly. I guess the cold makes them an average team. Thank God the first game was in Dallas. IF we do get in who would we play?

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

Damnit man, you're going to jinx us. Save the "I told you so" until after we win the next 2.

Maybe he meant this, which made no mention at all of starting a new thread.

we need the saints to loose and I doubt they are going to loose one, we also need to win at Minnesota and I have bad feelings about this game.

Re: Now Do U Feel My Vibe???

help me out. What if...

We win out
If the giants lose out
Vikes only lose to us in their next 3
and the saints win out

Which two go?

(Of course assuming we win out)
I say this because i do feel the saints will pull off two wins. If the giants go then we are out in that situation. But if the giants lose to buffalo (i think they will) and they lose to New England, they are 9-7. We both split head to head, we both are 3-3 in the division and we both split in conference play. We will have tie breaker over minni if we beat them and win out. So would it be us and the saints???? Or is there some kind of 3 way/4 way tie shit that messes us up?

Not as many "ifs" up there as it seems... Basically, if the saints win out; do we have any shot.

I think it would be us and the saints,, but not sure. The fact is that right now we don't even control our own destiny.

Re: Now Do U Feel My Vibe???

Hate to say it, but if Jacobs can rip off 130 yards on 25 carries (5.2 a pop). What will AP and CT do to us with that MN running game? It's going to be important for us to get up early, AND KEEP SCORING. If we can force Jackson to throw, we can win. But we need a big game from Todd Collins.

In that scenario we would hold the tiebreakers over New York and Minnesota. We would lose in the tiebreaker to New Orleans (conference record). Saints would go in as they #5 and the Skins would go in as the #6.

The third tiebreaker is common games (after head-to-head and division record), which only comes into play when there are 4 or more common opponents, the Redskins and Giants share 12 common games (not including head-to-head).

Giants: lost to Dallas twice (0-2), lost to Green Bay (0-3), beat Philly twice (2-3), beat the Jets (3-3), beat Miami (4-3), beat Detroit (5-3), lost to Minnesota (5-4), beat Chicago (6-4), and in your scenario would lose to Buffalo and New England (6-6).

Redskins: Beat Miami (1-0), split with Philly (2-1), beat Detroit (3-1), lost to Green Bay (3-2), lost to New England (3-3), beat the Jets (4-3), lost to Buffalo (4-4), beat Chicago (5-4), and in your scenario they would beat Minnesota and split with Dallas (7-5).

Re: Now Do U Feel My Vibe???

I tried to tell you guys before again and agian.....the Redskins are traditionally OUTSTANDING in December and the Cowboys and Giants take a dive.

The events of yesterdays games in the NFC East only further confirm what I have been telling you guys!

Where's the faith? Where's all that Kool-aid?

nice, thanks a lot for the work. That means (again assuming we win out) we need either the saints or the giants to lose next week. If either do and we win out we are in assuming the patriots go for 16 which they will. If neither happen then we have one last game with the saints vs. bears. So 1 of the 3 games need to go our way and of course our own 2 games

Dude, we are .500, and it was me who said to wait a week. I agree, we are a playoff possibility. I am getting a little vibe, we'll see after the season ends.
