Yea that's because he asked intelligent questions. Thanks for posting the interview Matty.

Re: Randle El live chat on ESPN right now
Are we really surprised offensive players (especially WRs) won't comment about a conservative offense? It's not like it was much of a secret.
On first take today ARE said something that kinda bothered me. Perhaps Im being over sensitive, but he said Baseball was his first love, they asked where he'd be playing now -- he said hopefully Chicago. Then the kicker, he looked into the camera and said if anyone in the Cubs organization is watching, Im available right now. That really rubbed me the wrong way. I don't mind ARE. I hate him on punts because he dances around forever and rarely gets results. Id rather him just get yards. Receiving I'd like him as a 3rd option on a team, not much more.

I saw that on First Take and I wouldn't read much into it. He's just joking around. Having some fun. Surprised you were bothered by it.

Honestly, SS. I was surprised too. I'm rarely rubbed the wrong way by things like that, but for whatever reason it bothered me.
PS -- please ask me before writing sigs about me, SS.

I guess the fact that there was no laugh or indication he was joking afterwords.

Re: Randle El live chat on ESPN right now
He was just on ESPN 2 during my lunch break for about 5 to 10 minutes. He talked about taking his game to the next level and becoming a pro bowl WR. He also talked about how the grieving for S.T became much harder after the season was done. Talked a little about Gibbs retiring saying that the season really wore on him (Gibbs) and it looked like he just didn’t have the energy to do everything he wanted to do. All in all it was a good segment try to catch it if you can.

Re: Randle El live chat on ESPN right now
I got the feeling Gibbs was waring on the team as well, he went out of his way more than once to point out how conservative Gibbs was, sounds like maybe some players were a little disappointed in their production and may in a round about way be blaming Gibbs conservative game plans for their lack of offensive production?

Re: Randle El live chat on ESPN right now
I really enjoyed reading this. ARE is a pretty funny dude. Some of the standout comments I saw are:
"Handcuffed under Gibbs"~~~WTF "Santanna can be me in a forward footrace, but I'll win going backward" I wasn't aware that people raced going backward, or side to side. "Portis is strange, funny but strange". On a serious side, I'm really glad that the players have Zorn's back, and look forward to the season. I haven't read or seen anything that has a player hesitate to praise what they've seen so far. I'm starting to get pumped up for the season, and it's way to early for that.

Re: Randle El live chat on ESPN right now
Well, ARE hasn't been in mini camp (he's excused), so he probably hasn't met the guy yet. It's understandable.
