Re: NBA/NHL Prediction Thread
I haven't been watching, I just got home not too long ago. I see they are down by 14 though. Not too good. Oh well...that's why it's a 7 game series.

Re: NBA/NHL Prediction Thread
Celtics are going to need some road games if they expect to win the championship

Re: NBA/NHL Prediction Thread
Yeah they are in a serious road funk. They won't be competing for a championship if they can't win a couple on the road.
On a side note, looking back at my predictions in this thread I realize just how bad I was. Montreal/San Jose are both eliminated from the playoffs and the Celts can't win one on the road at all.

Re: NBA/NHL Prediction Thread
I don't understand why they are so bad on the road! They had the best record on the road in the NBA if I recall right, and they are 0-5 thus far on the road. That's not a championship caliber team.
Although, on the flip side, they are 6-0 at home, and since they have home court advantage, they can continue this pace and still win it all.

Re: NBA/NHL Prediction Thread
I must say, it is kinda cool that it will be the Lakers vs Celtics in the finals again. I mean this is what the NBA was all about back in the 80s.

Re: NBA/NHL Prediction Thread
Forget my NHL prediction cuz that was horrible, but I still have a good chance with Celtics over the Lakers in 6 since they both made the Finals.

Re: NBA/NHL Prediction Thread
Can Detroit finish off the pens tonight in Pittsburgh......I think it ends tonight. Detroit skates around the pens home crowd hoisting the Stanley Cup.

Ok so I should have picked Pittsburg instead of Montreal.
But I'm still sticking with my Lakers in 6!!!!:headbange

Re: NBA/NHL Prediction Thread
You would have been even better just picking the STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS, THE RED WINGS! No bottom feeders or luck has run out teams needed, all other are just another 2nd place finisher.......LOL
GO CAPS....NEXT YEAR!

Re: NBA/NHL Prediction Thread
What a comeback by the Celtics yesterday. I thought for sure the tide was turning last night. But, much to my dismay, this may just be the Celtics year. It's tough living in a place with so many top teams (Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics) when you don't care for any of them.

Re: NBA/NHL Prediction Thread
HA!
I turned the game off in the 3rd when Boston was down by 18 points. Glad they came back and beat Kobe. Apparently Bryant walked off the court with 3 seconds left as LA was taking the ball up the court, then after the game in the press conference talked about doing 20 shots before sleeping and said the team "wet the bed". Yeah, he's a piece of trash (again). He will NEVER be M.J. on or off the court.
