Re: All experts picking us to finish last in division
There are no EXPERTS in picking preseason rankings. By the end of the season everyone realizes that. However, we keep beleiving them each year.

It is preseason. While I hate to see the Skins get little respect we are playing in the NFC East. You can pretty much put them in a hat and draw who is going to win the division; that way you would have as much as anyone with predicting the real out come.

Re: All experts picking us to finish last in division
Even if the skins finish last you may still have a better record than the NFC West champion.
I am going to pick Philly if they don't give Westbrook a new contract. If they do I will pick the Giants because they lost the heart of their team and I would love to see who takes that place. |

Re: All experts picking us to finish last in division
I'll believe the expert that says that the NFC is a toss up, because it is...here are reasons why each team can be a good team or a bad team....and I don't think anyone can predict either way:
Cowboys Good: Talented team, good QB, has been a playoff team Bad: T.O/Pacman blows up, they'll win but will be 1 and done in the playoffs and Wade gets fire...enter Garrett Eagles Good: Healthy McNabb, Westbrook is still around, A. Samuels improves their secondary Bad: McNabb goes down Giant Good: They get lucky again Bad: Their luck runs out Redskins Good: JC and the offense do a good job, defense keeps it up Bad: We have the same anemic offense

It all hinges on the health at qb for them beyond delhomme who do they have matt moore? Keep in mind delhomme is coming off tommy john surgery and he really hasnt tested that arm...but i do agree if he is healthy the panthers are a definite sleeper. But on us...i agree with others in here i like being under the radar and I think we will surprise many if JC can get a good handle of this offense and if zorn really has "it" when it comes to being a head coach.

Re: All experts picking us to finish last in division
I actually like when we're under the radar..Don't give us credit let us earn it by destroying those teams like we did the giants and cowboys last year. At the end of the season then we'll see..Its opnion not fact.

Re: All experts picking us to finish last in division
Not that I care about predictions, but why should Philly be ranked higher than us? Every statement made about the Eagles is always preceded with "if McNabb stays healthy". McNabb's biggest gripe was that he didn't have anyone to throw to. Has their receiver situation been addressed? If not, then what off-season moves have they made that would indicate any improvement from last year?

Re: All experts picking us to finish last in division
I don't know what else everyone expects? The Giants won the f'ing superbowl last year, that gets them top billing this year. Next, Dallas and then Phil. New coach, new system... If I were going to make an unbiased guess on how it would shake out, that's probably how I would go too. I HOPE it's more like 1)WAS, 2)NYG, 3)PHI and 4)Dallas finishing 0-16 but that's all it is, hope.

Re: All experts picking us to finish last in division
If you consider going 7-9 but winning the horrible NFC South as sleeper, then maybe. The Panthers were below average last year and got worse.
