Vanilla is my favorite flavor and it's the flavor of our 'Skins O right now. Remember, this coach doesn't care HOW you win, JUST win. Got to be happy with the way this team is coming around right now, and it's only going to get better.

we did have a lot of trouble running in prevoius weeks, so this did give bugel a chance to work things out and practice run blocking. Portis will be greatful for all the practice once the regular season starts.

I am guessing here the the QB and WR are practicing to get them on the same page through out the week not everything comes soley from preseason games which given most teams run vanillia offences and defences are not as important or telling as people give them credit for.

I think there is three things you want to take from preseason games and that is to build confidence in fundementals, assess the basic skills of fringe players and come out of each one with as few injuries as possible.

Anyone remember a game where Gibbs called a PA pass on the first play of the game? Rypien threw (IIRC) a TD to Gary Clark on a fake to Riggs. JG alway sloved to throw in a PA play at the right time.

My bet is he's saying to all the other teams out there "Look at Portis run. Look at Portis run. Look at Portis... oops you were looking at Portis weren't you?"

Joe is BACK! Shove it down their throats 30-40 times a game, beat them 10-3 if you have to. I absolutely love it!

Redskins style smash-mouth football with Joe Gibbs on the sideline was what made me a fan.

Running the ball is the style of the offense, even in Gibbs first go around I can remember watching reagular season games with my brother and him complaining how Washington would run the same run play over and over during the game. The point is that it might look boring but like someone said earlyer run it till the stop it. Why pass when you dont need to and risk the chance of an int? Also Gibbs loves to eat up the clock and the best way to do that is run run run!!!

I think I read it was 54 runs to 17 passes...lol.

If we play like that in the regualr season, Portis is going to have 4500 rushing yards. And be the best fantasy player EVER!
