Re: Met Plaxico Burress Friday Night

Lemonade at the game...$8.00 First Giants T-Shirt Sold...$35.00 Ticket to the game...$1732.50 Knowing that 97.5 million people that watched the game wernt allowed in the party we crashed.... PRICELESS

I thought Plax was kinda a Douche when I met him. Wasnt very social. Kept having guards protect him from people wanting to congradulate him. I guess he was tired but come on, you just won the super bowl and it was the after party. A little energy would have been nice.

He wouldnt give me an autograph the 5 times I asked him. My black friend went up and asked him and he agreed right away. Im hoping it was just a coincidence but he definitly was rude to me whenever I tried talking to him.

You meant for Landry's own safety, correct? Laron, I'd like to introduce you to Brandon.

LOL....,yeah real cruddy. 35 million!

Fresh off the signing of a new $35 million contract, Plaxico Burress led the Giants to an Opening Night 16-7 win over the Redskins with a career high tying 10 receptions for 133 yards.

Plax had his way with the Redskins corners all night long in a performance reminiscent of last year's torching of Al Harris in the NFC Championship game. The ankle injury that bothered him throughout the preseason didn't appear to be an issue.

Thumbs down Re: Met Plaxico Burress Friday Night

Plax made our secondary look like a J V team, I'll give him that, but he is still a douche. A very talented douche. P.S. Jacobs wow, Tiki who? Another after thought giantone and coggs, don't be too excited, your team was pretty sloppy as well. 6pts in the second quarter and shut out in the second half, O wow. Play like that the rest of the season and you will be sitting at home with 20 other teams come January, FO SHO!

Re: Met Plaxico Burress Friday Night

Believe Jim, I know. Like I said in the other thread, of the 2 short FG's, one has to be punched into the endzone. For you to say Jacobs who is just silly. Eli was VERY rusty and the O can't get shut down like that in the 2nd half. Thursday the D was outstanding and was able to protect the lead, won't happen every week. Kind of like the Muts when they have a 6-0 lead in the 3rd inning and blow it 7-6.

Re: Met Plaxico Burress Friday Night

you guys are happy about what Jacobs did to Landry. what about what portis did to your best pass rusher? and tell that little bitch to quit crying about Samuels, before he really gets hurt

Re: Met Plaxico Burress Friday Night

I am happy the Giants won. I only made the Landry remarks after these guys talked about how he would take of Burress. Sorry, but that was a cheap play by Samuels when they game was over. Kiwanuka is not their best pass rusher. Before he really gets hurt? Please, the skins have enough to worry about without thinking about REALLY hurting anyone.

Yup I agree and as I said before you guys made some good adjustments to us and played well in the second half. Our D did some stupid stuff, roughing the punter ,penalties on third downs after stopping the play ...yes we played like some crap and as for Eli....you guys need to take advantage of that stuff ....or we can share the popcorn together.

According to ESPN the game was a blowout and the Giants are going to repeat their SB run. It's good to hear from a Giants fan that this was not the case.

My sister knew Amos Zereoue at WVU. He signed a jersey for me back in the day. Cool that you got to meet Plaxico, even though I hate the Giants he is a really great receiver.
