Re: Colston out for a month

I'm glad we don't have to deal with Colston this week, but I he was the #1 WR on my fantasy team. SHIT!

Re: Colston out for a month

Wow I guess those people did not check with their sarcasm meter before posting. "It is an outrage that the Redskins are excited someone is hurt..." That being said, I am tired of this talk already, even if we win I know now that it will come down to.. "YOU COULDN'T BEAT THEM IF THEY HAD COLSTON!"

Re: Colston out for a month

i'm not really worried about this. when you have a coach like payton and a qb like drew you can't help but be confident. colston has missed some games during his career and there was really no fall off at all. don't get me wrong, this is a big loss. but the saints will be able too cover it up. we are very deep at the reciever position and have 3-4 guys who can step in and take colstons spot. our best reciever during the preseason (and last seasons first round pick) robert meachem will finally see action. i'm looking for him too have a good outing, he looked great in the preseason. and then there are the vets like patten, henderson, moore, and copper. all very solid recievers.

the bottom line is that the coaching staff and drew will put guys into position too succeed and cover this up as best as they can. shockey will probably be doubled but now we have a extra reciever (henderson, meachem) that should be able to get good seperation and get open downfield.

More news from the National Sports Enquirer. I HIGHLY doubt our players were literally doing somersaults because an opposing player was hurt.

Trash source.

Re: Colston out for a month

You are correct, this is trash. Here was my response to PFT. I know is kinda sappy, but I'm just pissed off about this article:

"Let me start off by saying that I'm a Redskins fan and I know my team sucked last week against the Giants. With that out of the way, if you are going to make such a character attack against the players, you better mention more than "per league sources". Several of the Redskins players have dismissed the notion of Marques Colston being out as "good news", pointing out the many offensive qualities of the Saints. Also, coming from a group of players that saw one of their veteran leaders (Phillip Daniels) struck down by injury and sidelined for the whole season, I truly doubt they would celebrate the misfortune of another player. While everyone has their flaws, I will be the first one to defend the character of the players that I root for. I think coming from an organization that has endured a number of tragedies from the Sean Taylor murder, the death of Coach Bugel's daughter (offensive line coach), the illness of Reed Doughty's kid and Coach Gibbs' grandson (last season), and in a lesser scale the season-ending injury of Daniels; I think the Redskins players will be the last ones to celebrate Colston's injury or any other opponent's misfortunes."

Re: Colston out for a month

Reading through some of the comments on PFT I'm amazed/shocked that people buy into crap that is posted there.

Re: Colston out for a month

I learned about it when a Dallas fan posted it on a fantasy board I'm active on.

I ripped PFT.com apart with links to some of their previous lies.

Re: Colston out for a month

Well, they won't post mine up. I submitted it twice.

Nice censorship.

Re: Colston out for a month

The link that I posted was from their Rumor Mill page. Credibility should certainly be questioned when reading that section.

I don't believe everything I read but I'll at least listen.

I don't know of any other inside information sites. What sites are you guys using???
