Re: I am impressed with the Skins

What really impressed me, was the fact that Zorn used all our big play makers on offense very well. Portis, Moss, Cooley all had big games.

Re: I am impressed with the Skins

First and foremost, I was extremely impressed with the defense. Drew Brees is a great quarterback and we never allowed him to get comfortable. The defense was also flying around and making big plays like they did in 2005. I was very nervous about the defense, they proved me wrong and I couldn't be happier.

I was also very impressed with Campbell. His completed most of his short-to-intermediate throws and his deep passes are things to beauty. I hope Zorn incorporates more go routes into his offense. Anytime you don't turn the ball over, throw for over 300 yards, and complete more than 60% of your passes, you've had a very, very good day.

I must say that I feel like I live and die with each play. I feel like Joe Gibbs Jr. I'd love it if we just blew teams out so I didn't have heart trouble, but I'll take a game like today any week.

Re: I am impressed with the Skins

well bravo to the whole redskins. Zorn did an execllent job in this game, he called better plays. Ones that actually ran routes to get first downs!!! lol but what im impressed with the most is, how much zorn let campbell have control at the line. That adubile campbell made for the 65 yard td catch to moss was just amazing. i litterly fell out of my chair screaming with excitment. Campbell really took a step further today and has won my support back for him, he really grew up today.

Re: I am impressed with the Skins

Campbell has never led a 4th quarter comeback-check
Jason Taylor's done as a playmaker-check
Our rookie class is a complete bust-check
Zorn is way out of his league calling plays-check
BTW-I love the ballsy call on 4th and 2 going for it and passing as well! Great call..

It was far from a perfect game, but if this is one to build on, I love the building blocks we laid down today.

Re: I am impressed with the Skins

The team now needs to address their red zone offense issues. We played against a depleted N.O. defense, and that allowed us to come back in this game. We need to score TDs when we're in the red zone, and I hope the team works that out.

I think the defense played GREAT, held a potent offense in check, and held Reggie Bush in check. Jason Taylor is working out great, and he's just going to get better.

Re: I am impressed with the Skins

It was great to see them dig in and get it done in the second half.

The only thing I wasn't impressed with was ARE's punt returns. I love him, but it's just painful watching him juke around back there.

Did anyone see Malcolm Kelly in the second half? I just want to know that he was on the field and not hurt again.

Exactly. Completed nearly 70% of his passes and showed poise and leadership with a 4th quarter deficit facing 0-2. He even audibled into that Moss 70yd TD. I was very pleased with Jason's progress from last week.

I think they're eating crow with the people that said Ramsey was never given a chance.

Quiet around here is'nt it? If only they were as eager to give praise as criticism.

Re: I am impressed with the Skins

I criticized Campbell last week and I am very happy to say he played great today. Lots of positives to build on.
