Re: ARE: Punt Returns
I'd love to see Moss return punts but, I don't think we can risk injuring our #1 receiver.

Re: ARE: Punt Returns
ARE has been doing this for years now, he's terrible, and looks like he doesn't even want to be back there - so don't make him, find someone else.
thomas looked bad in pre season... thrash or betts maybe? i totally agree. |

Re: ARE: Punt Returns
Agreed.
James Thrash or Rock... Just run for 10-15 yards... don't dance... and DO NOT fumble. That's it. Punt return issues solved.

Re: ARE: Punt Returns
I think we should send 11 men after the block one every punt. PR problem solved.

Re: ARE: Punt Returns
Meanwhile, the punter lofts an easy pass to the gunner for a touchdown. Of coarse I recognized the sarcasm.

Re: ARE: Punt Returns
We need someone to take the ball North and South, all this dancing back there reminds me of Neon when he sucked returning punts for us. I say give Rock a try (and if not him then Thrash). At least Rock will take the ball upfield. Intriguing thought about Tryon, with his speed he could be interesting, but has he ever done it before?

Re: ARE: Punt Returns
I vote for Devin Hester. If not him, then whoever is our quickest guy other than Santana Moss (Tryon?).

Re: ARE: Punt Returns
He's pretty bad back there. He spins around like a drunk on a unicycle. I'm ready to see if Thomas or Rock can do better back there.

Re: ARE: Punt Returns
Yeah, his days as an elite punt returner are clearly behind him.

Re: ARE: Punt Returns
Why not Moss? I don't care as long as the guy just runs forward more than sideways.
