I can't find anything on this anywhere. Kelly sprained his ankle. His prior issue was with his knee. I don't see how this would land him on IR. Redskins Insider is reporting Kelly actually tried to practice today but wasn't quite able to go.

Well it is 980 who is reporting this.... Then little to no credibility on the IR move today. But I wouldn't be very surprised to see someone brought in soon for a roster spot if Kelly can't stay healthy or maybe sooner.
If Kelly and Thrash can't go this weekend though, that does leave us thin at wide out. We could see Devin Aromashodu and/or Horace Gant from the squad being activated. News & Notes: Bigger Role For Thomas This Sunday?
