The Dallas Cowboys had no comment about the fight involving cornerback Pacman Jones because the team had no information about the incident. Well, if the team doesn’t have information about the situation, it simply hasn’t bothered to ask for it.

Per a league source, the “bodyguard” with whom Jones fought in the bathroom of a Dallas hotel was an off-duty police officer who has been hired by Cowboys owner Jerry Jones to babysit Pacman.

The source says that the problem started because the babysitter popped off to Jones’ female companion. Jones, who had been drinking, then started up with the guy, and it culminated in a scuffle.

Jones, we’re told, had marks on his face at practice on Wednesday.

It remains to be seen whether the Cowboys or the league will take any action about the situation.

The body guard was a Redskins fan who was just doing his job.

Re: Pacman gets in fight

After watching his play and lack of hearing his name is this a good thing or would we rather see him on the field? I'dsay let him play why would we want to change things after stomping them into the ground!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybr Jerry J sent the guy down to start the fight to get PM off the field?

Funny! I nearly posted the exact same thought earlier.

Re: Pacman gets in fight

I'd love it if the story is true and Goodell boots his ass. Terrence Newman has a sports hernia and may miss the next 6 weeks too (ESPN - Source: Cowboys' Newman has sports hernia, may need surgery - NFL).. I can sense an impending implosion in Big D.

Grimace Phillips better be polishing up that resume and getting some boxes to pack!

Re: Pacman gets in fight

"Jones is Jonesing" for drugs and strippers and his babysitters are trying to prevent him from screwing up. More bad news for the cowboys on Terence Newman from an article on ESPN:

Compounding the potential consequences for the Cowboys is that Jones has been starting at left cornerback for Pro Bowler Terence Newman, who is attempting to confirm a preliminary diagnosis of a sports hernia injury that could sideline him for a minimum of six weeks if surgery is required.

Re: Pacman gets in fight

It's a conspiracy. SOMEONE (Roger Godell) hired someone to start a fight with Pacman. Then Obama and the Democrats took payoffs while Bush looked the other way even though he knew it was coming, and originally Cheeny was going to come in at some point and shoot everything up but no one trusted him with a gun and then Al-Queda was going to use the opening to distribute leaflets explaining their ideology. All while AIG was planning to hold an emergency conference in the Bahama's. OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE THE NWO IS HERE!!!!

Re: Pacman gets in fight

This has got to be a lifetime ban right? A ridiculous signing and the Cowboys are getting what they deserve.

The larger story is that this team is ripe for implosion, just wait. They are coming apart at the seams.

Re: Pacman gets in fight

I was really hoping for him to beat TOs ass in practice while tank johnson pistol whips romo. That's what I envisioned when they signed these guys anyway. (And if there's a cartoon artist on here that wants to make that happen...)
