What happened to Winslow that he was in the hospital? They said last night on MNF that it was not disclosed at his request. I'm thinking hep C.
I was not really paying attention to the radio this morning on the way to work but I'm pretty sure I heard that Winslow is suffering from elephantitis (sp?)of the testicles. If true, I can certainly understand why he would want it kept private, and I bet it hurts more than many of us can imagine.

A buddy of mine in the Navy had that. He always told me it was the most miserable two weeks of his life.

Re: The Giants ........

On tv they were talking about how the Browns D is small and gets pushed around alot. I can see our big linemen opening holes for Portis. We will need to basically do what they did and that is play keep away. If our offense is on the field they can't score. wear them down with the run so in the 4th quarter they are tired and can't tackle well. The medium ball was there for the Giants but they didn't utilize it or dropped the balls thrown there. Hopefully we can get some interceptions. Lewis looked small compared to the Giants D. He was getting some runs but only after they had to back up to stop the Browns passing game. He was stuffed early on.

Re: The Giants ........

I missed most of the game because I was playing Madden and I thought it was going to be a Giants rout anyway. I turned it on just in time to see Manning throw the pick 6. I couldn't believe it, the NFC East took it on the chin this weekend.

He most likely has, according to reporting I have heard, a hydrocele--which is a collection of fluid around a testicle. This can be caused by several things, some serious, some not. Of these causes, elephantiasis is low on the list. Elephantiasis is a parasitic infection that one contracts from mosquitoes primarily in Africa and Southeast Asia.

I disagree. We played lousy, and the Rams won because of how lousy we played.

Agreed. Coming off that big upset, they are going to be hot. I hope our Skinz got a wake-up call last week and takes it to them. I hope the team that handed the Cowgals and the Iggles their arses shows up this Sunday, thirsty, mad and ready to represent our house.

Re: The Giants ........

Something good about the Giants loss besides the Skins not falling farther behind in the standings: the Giants look a whole lot more human now. The were undefeated defending champs and looked like a juggernaut. Now they look a lot more beatable. They're still really good but much less intimidating.

I agree that we played lousy, sloppy football, but at least we were able to move the ball consistently before shooting ourselves in the foot via dropped pass, turnover, or penalty. The Rams offense was pretty much inept, and take away the Kendall play, this game isn't even close since we were going in for a score there. Turnovers are part of the deal, so we deserve the loss. My point that it was a fluke was that the team doing most of the physical domination ended up losing the game.

Re: The Giants ........

I liked the fact that both teams were pounding on each other late into the night. It also show that if you turn the ball over like the Giants and the skins did any team can beat you.

Re: The Giants ........

While the Giants loss is good for us, it won't matter until the Skins can prove that the loss to the Rams is a fluke and they are really more like the team that beat Dallas and Philly on the road.
