Re: Skins vs. Browns

I do think it will be a higher scoring game by our standards. But I by no means am feeling a blow out! I mean c'mon every one of our games this year has been decided by 7pts or less.

Skins 33
Ugly Uniforms 27

Re: Skins vs. Browns

The Redskins come out with something to prove ... and jump out early. The Browns hit a few plays early, and hang with us. In the 2nd half, the 'Skins take control and pull away.

Browns 24

I wanna be sure who is starting on the o-line before I give my score. I think we'll win because of our "D". The quality of the win depends on the o-line and turnovers.
I agree if the O-line plays real well we cruise to victory. But I gotta say the O-line being healthy and playing well is probly the biggest reason we're successful this year. Portis leads in rushing Campbell has'nt been sacked that much some of which were him holding the ball too long, And going 4 wide last wk. I think it's been the strength of the offense.

Re: Skins vs. Browns

Santana Moss will finally open up.

Him and JC will connect, along with 6 other receivers.

Browns 17

Re: Skins vs. Browns

The Redskins need to continue to play their type of game. On defense, stop the run and limit the big passing plays. Keeping Braylon Edwards, Jamal Lewis and Kellen Winslow Jr. under control is a priority. On offense, they need to score touchdowns and keep the turnovers to a minimum. A heavy dose of Clinton Portis with an efficient passing attack should be good enough. No drama this week.

I take a different look at it. I credit a lot of the success to Campbell getting rid of the ball a lot more quickly, scrambling for first downs, checking down on his receivers quickly and running up into the pocket when he gets pressure. And there has been a lot of pressure. Rabach has'nt played that well, Jansen has trouble with the pass rush, and Randy Thomas does'nt seem his usual self. The left side has done a pretty good job and Portis has been awesome with his blocking.

Re: Skins vs. Browns

I can't wait for this one. I don't think this is going to be too close for some reason. Look for the skins to win 7+ pts.

We should be ready to go and upset that we kicked the Rams all around the field yet managed to lose the game.

They just better take their heads out of their @$$es and f'ing win this one. The Redskins have to prove that the game against the Rams was a fluke.

I'd like to see Shawn Springs covering Braylon Edwards. Have to hope Springs doesn't get injured in the process, since you never know with him.

Re: Skins vs. Browns

Went with my head last week and said 42-0 .
This week a typical Skins game;
Skins 23 -3 short fg's with Red Zone issues, 2 good scoring drives late in the game)
Browns 16 - Campbell throws his first pick 6 mid 1st quarter, and the D holds the rest of the game

Re: Skins vs. Browns

The broadcasters called it perfectly last week, "You need to come out and pounce on an inferior opponent". You let teams like the Rams, or Browns, stick close in games, they gain confidence and feel that they have a chance to be on the winning end. You got to come out and bully these guys around, hit um in the mouth.

With that said, 1st play from scrimmage is a play action deep post to Moss which he catches and goes the distance. You need to start out with something big like this to back this decent front 7 off, further creating room for some good running yards. I say go deep early, even if you miss on 1 or 2 you back these defenders off and scar them a tad.

Redskins: 24
Brown Turds: 13

GO SKNS!
