Re: Zorn's I'm A Soldier Moment
I liked it too. He wasn't being an ass. He got genuinely frustrated that the reporter couldn't get his sh*t together and ask exactly what he wanted. I guess the question had to do with clock management at the end of the 1st half? I thought the approach was right on. We just continued to make dumb sh*t mistakes.

Re: Zorn's I'm A Soldier Moment
From the editing it looks like they were on that question for a long time. So he porbably answered it over and over. come on, you'd get pissed if some douche like JLC was rolling his eyes at you, lol. This makes me Zorny.

Re: Zorn's I'm A Soldier Moment
Hilarious stuff. What I loved was how he went from calm, to livid, to calm in less than 10 seconds.

Re: Zorn's I'm A Soldier Moment
I think his intensity wears off on the rest of the team in good way. Zorn is the man.

Re: Zorn's I'm A Soldier Moment
What I do love is that's he's this pissed after a WIN. He's not satisfied. He knows we should have pounded the Lions. Good stuff. He'll be kind of sheepish tomorrow, but now we've all seen that flash. That goof-ball style he has doesn't mean he's not intense.

Re: Zorn's I'm A Soldier Moment
I don't think this counts as an "I'm A Soldier" moment. In order to make such a remark, the speaker must (1) publicly construct an asinine, egotistical metaphor (2) at an inappropriate time and (3) in a tone that is totally disproportionate to the tone of the interviewer.
It looks like Zorn's statement only meets condition three and thus fails the venerable Winslow Test. I would say we could call this "pulling a Denny Green," but that would involve storming out of the room immediately after making the statement*. It could be "pulling a John L. Smith," but that would involve some light self-flagellation. Maybe it was "pulling a Mora?" In my opinion, Zorn didn't do diddly-poo wrong in that interview. We have way bigger fish to fry this week. GO SKINS! |

Re: Zorn's I'm A Soldier Moment
i saw this last night, but i never heard the question the guy asked him either.
it was nothing like singletary's explosion.he told vernon davis to leave the field and hit the showers with 10 minutes left in the game, and he went apeshit on the podium after the game. |

Re: Zorn's I'm A Soldier Moment
It's all good as long as we're winning. Otherwise, Zorn is headed to Coors commercial fame a' la Denny Greeen.

Re: Zorn's I'm A Soldier Moment
Did you see Blache on Comcast last night. Talk about not being satisfied. I'd be scared if I were a defensive player. He is on a mission for perfection. He called us the worst 6-2 defense in the league. Not a happy man last night.
