Moss is a freak. The guy is probably the most athletically gifted receiver in the league. All of Rice's records will fall, even if jerry is still trying to play when moss retires. Moss can do things that aren't just taught, but it's just natural to him. Probably one of the top 5, maybe top 3, receivers when he is done.

sometimes moss has dogged it a bit in the past (when he knew he wasn't getting the ball), but he's definately the best WR right now, holt is good too, but its a different league.

I dont know if anyone will ever break rices records, but that doesnt mean hes better than Moss. The thing with a lot of records is that they are marathons. How do you judge who is better, someone who had a better first ten years, who someone who played an extra ten years and got more stats.

you can average out their best years and just compare those... not quite the same as taking in the context of the people they played against, the talent in their team's system etc... but it also really depends on what you're comparing...

I don't know what I was watching then cuz while he showed some promise he never looked to me like he would be anything close to an elite TE. he and betts r a lot alike so far in that they both have/had quite a bit of talent but yet injuries just seemed to keep piling up for them and prevented them from being on the field.

Yeah, case in point, would you rather have Emmitt Smith or Walter Payton? The former cowgirl now has more yards but he couldn't hold Sweetness' jock.

Sweetness couldn't hold Barry Sander's jock either. Barry would have 2x Sweetness's yards if they played for the same amount of time.
