I think more people are in my camp than not. I don't even think they should play a game. Just name the team and that's it. |

Well it's not going to pull numbers like the other sports obviously. Most people's teams have been in offseason mode for several weeks by that time.

In a good year, I think I sat through one quarter of the Pro Bowl. John Riggins has said more than once that back in the day he hoped he was never chosen. His logic: why risk an injury on a meaningless game.

My point made here. Just imagine Sean's hit putting on a serious injury in a meaningless game. Imagine if Lawrence Taylor met Theismann in the Pro Bowl. I know I'm being hypothetical, but l concur with Riggins - if I'm gonna go down, make it worth my while.

Re: Pro-Bowl to move to Miami in 2010?
Dumb move! I enjoy watching the pro bowl every year. The rules change a little bit so you see ALOT more downfield passing. And the rules change a little bit more so you can, get this, ACTUALLY SEE GROUP CELEBRATIONS IN THE END ZONE! Even if its Chad Johnson leading the AFC squad to a line dance in midfield.................ITS STILL HILARIOUS! Especially when the NFC comes back from two scores down and then gets them back.
Or Tory Holt catching a bomb and then shooting people with the football. Heck, I can't wait to see what Portis is going to do if he scores this year! I like watching the probowl because they throw those dumb rules out the window. Rules made by stiff necked execs, who not only wear a jacket three sizes to small, BUT THEIR TIES TO TIGHT TOO! Its fun seeing Bill Cowher decline a 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty. Or seeing a lineman jump offside, try to pull up, but was just to darn big so he hits the quarterback anyway. No penalty flag was thrown. For unnecessary roughness that is. And as other people have said. The players see this as a paid vacation. They bring all of their family and friends down and just have a good time. And they have a good time playing football too. As its all in just good fun. And noone takes it seriously. Trying to put this game in Miami would be alright, but putting this game in Detriot? Or Dallas? Or any of those ugly cities would just make players fake an injury like in the old school days and just not go. And then the probowl won't even be fun to watch. "Is it going to be my knee or my ankle this time." Sonny Jerguson's Center to Sonny on the last drive of the season.

That's 7 months without an NFL game. The Pro Bowl is the finger licking part of the season and I love it!...it's finger-licking good!

That's the problem,it's not a college allstar game were you're being scouted. If one of your best hits is on a punter in the pro bowl....thats just sad. |

Ummm, did you ever see some of Sean's hits? It's not like he needed to pick on punters to make the highlight reel. What's sad is that you feel the need to make a comment like that. If you know anything about the NFL, you know #21 loved to smash anything that moved on a regular basis, punter or not.

Thank God for the fake punt! It made a sad game enjoyable for Sean and his fans!

Re: Pro-Bowl to move to Miami in 2010?
They ****ed it up!! The only change needed was to announce the pro-bowl players after the season is over. Changing the venue sucks and playing the game the week before the SB is stupid because none of the players in the SB teams will participate. MORONS!!
