Re: Steelers vs. Cardinals: Best Super Bowl Ever
It was poorly officiated, I lost all respect for the (FIST THROWING) Steelers, The MVP is a POTHEAD and the Superbowl championship hats are Seahawk colors WTF.
The best part of the game was the free beer! I took a bet that the Cards would win or lose by by the spread, the wager was buying the days worth of beer. |

Basically i see the steelers has holding two of the most "tainted" sb's in the nfl. Just terrible officiating. Oh well... let FA speculation begin.

Re: Steelers vs. Cardinals: Best Super Bowl Ever
I saw Ryan Clark put another nasty hit on a guy. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. A lady at work told me that the NFL had taken out the rule for helmet to helmet unless it's against the quarterback. The last hit he put on the guy in the Raven's game looked to me like he was going in with his shoulder and just happened to hit the guy with his helmet. The hit he put on the guy tonight looked like all helmet. I thought the only guy allowed to lead with the helmet was the RB? What's the rule?

Re: Steelers vs. Cardinals: Best Super Bowl Ever
The end was great, no doubt. Totally agree about the final fumble. What do they have replay for?
Way too many penalties, but the INT return for a TD was pretty amazing. Larry Fitzgerald is one bad-ass man. Felt bad for him.

Re: Steelers vs. Cardinals: Best Super Bowl Ever
I'm sorry but the Warner fumble not being questioned with less than 20 seconds was BS. On top of that Holmes TD was not a TD after watching closely you can see his other foot did not touch the ground after he caught the ball. This super bowl was boring as hell except for the last 7 minutes or so. Also James Harrison is MVP because that INT he returned for a TD was the biggest game changer EVER in SB history!

Re: Steelers vs. Cardinals: Best Super Bowl Ever
You know you guys are right about the hats. Holly cow. I didn't stay and watch the after game stuff so had to go to NFL.com to see it. I've seen all white with the team logo. I've seen hats with team colors and team logo. Heck I even want to say maybe black with team logo, but I've never seen a SB hat that does not have any of your colors other then white in it and use the logo. It clearly looks like a Seahawks hat. NFL should step in and force them to change it. I know it's late and some people already have their hats but a nice fine or force them to pull all the hats and change them would cost them money and would be a punishment enough. You can't tell me if the Cards won their hat color was going to be the same hat but with the Cards logo. Thats BS.

Re: Steelers vs. Cardinals: Best Super Bowl Ever
Tainted Super Bowls? I guess I dont see how officiating could taint a win since the calls happen as the game develops. Actually if any team has tainted Super Bowls it the Skins, with winning them in strike shortened/ruined seasons but I dont hear anyone on this site complaining about that.

That's the point ....the defender hit the ball as the arm was moving back(not forward) when the arm was moving forward there was no ball in his hand. What was looked at ....was the ball kicked and where it should be placed. |

Re: Steelers vs. Cardinals: Best Super Bowl Ever
I actually lost a LOT of respect for the Steelers. I always thought they were just a hard-nosed defense but MAN they are a bunch of punk asses!
