I agree though about Boldin.
Well, I like Campbell but this is less about getting Sanchez then it is about spending our 1st and 3rd on Boldin

-I think if there isn't a commitment to Campbell long term than you might as well make the move sooner than later
-I think if we spend our 1st on Sanchez then at least we have the 3rd rounder for a LB/OL, instead of using that 3rd to get Boldin when we already have plenty of WRs. I understand that two have yet to contribute and two are closer to being done. But still, it wouldn't make sense to trade our 3rd rounder (plus our first) for yet another WR

OK, I gotcha. That makes sense. I have a feeling we will be throwing away a pick or two anyway. Sanchez will go higher than 13th, and I have this hunch we will trade up...man I hope not!
About Boldin, unsure which teams are willing to pay that. Unsure as to why Arizona is willing to ship him after he help lead them to a SB. That trio works over there!

Re: Boldin a Redskin?

NO!! I would rather trade up in the Draft and get either Sanchez or Orakpo! Boldin is good but not what we need at this point.

Re: Boldin a Redskin?

If the FO is planning on wasting our first pick on Sanchez then yes i would give it up for Boldin. We are really wasting Santana's prime years cuz he is constantly doubled deep. But again yeah i wouldn't give away a 1st and 3rd as long as they are used for OT, DE, or LB.

Re: Boldin a Redskin?

Can he play OL? It won't matter if our QB is running for his life.

There is more intelligence in this one simple sentence then some of the page long posts I've seen.

Re: Boldin a Redskin?

I like Boldin but lets address the O-line for crying out loud. I dont like JC in the least, but trading up for Sanchez is also a mistake.

Re: Boldin a Redskin?

We need oline help....if he were a FA, I'd say go nuts cause the guy is fantastic...

Ironically...the bad moves to lose our draft picks is protecting us from making another high priced trade mistake....if we had a full arsenal of picks...I bet some of you would say a first and a 5th would be fine...I might too...but not in this circumstance.

in any case...there is no way this is happening.

Really?
I'd rather get a stud WR for two picks than draft a player with our first rounder that very well won't contribute this year and isn't a need.
I'd rather us address OL or DE with our first pick but Boldin is an undeniable talent. Too bad this will never happen. We have no cap room to make this happen.
