Sean Payton. Thanks guys. My brain went on vacation for a while.

He would but I doubt he'll make it past the 2nd rd.

You are probably right, but, if he fell to the third I wouldn't be too upset if we picked him. Even with all our other needs.

I highly doubt that Eagles would go after a TE in 1st rd - they are already in love with Celek - enough to let LJ Smith go.. They probably will go after a RB (since they lost Buckhalter and Westbrook is 30 along with his injuries history) or T..

IF the Eagles don't trade for Boldin, I'd bet they go for a RB (either trading up or take whatever is left) or finally draft a WR. They caught lightning in a bottle last year with D. Jackson but they could use a big possession type receiver like Britt or Nicks, both of which should be available when they pick.
I still think they that Philly could make some sort of play for Sanchez. Philly's FO showed that they're moving in the direction of replacing McNabb when they drafted Kolb in the 2nd rd last year. Kolb looked terrible (as many rookie qb's often do) and they might not be sold.

If Moreno goes to Philly it's worth 2 to 3 regular season wins for them. Bad news for us. This guy is a Superstar.

Over his rookie year? Or over the life of his first contract? That's a pretty big difference.

re: Other teams interest in Knowshon Moreno could benefit us...

I don't see us picking up a RB early in the draft if we even pick a RB. We still have Portis, who I think DS has adopted as his son, and Betts who some on here still think is the second coming, and Rock who is a one position player. The position coach did mention how he would like a scat back as a change of pace to spell Portis. He said that on Redskins Nation. We went out and picked up a speedy back from Canada who seems pretty decent but then went out and picked up the Bronco's last yrs RB pick who by all accounts was supposed to be the fastest man out of the draft last yr. His only knock was he had an ankle injury in preseason. Hopefully he can stay healthy and be our scat back.

I think if we make any move up in the draft it's for something else. Perhaps Sanchez, not my favorite pick, but could be an upgrade over JC. or perhaps a DE but we just signed all those aged players to a one yr contract I can see us utilizing them this yr and picking up a DE next yr. I think OT would be a good choice since someone mentioned on the boards that we had a 4th ranked Defense last yr but our offense lacked depth and talent. Hopefully this yr the talent steps up and we find depth somewhere.

I think you misunderstood what I was saying. If Moreno drops to us, there may be a few teams interested in trading up to our pick.

KM is going to be really good. I'd love to have him but it aint going to happen.

I love CP and his entire game, but let's face it he's got a lot of miles on him and on average RB's tend to decline very fast. The worst part is we're "stuck" w/ him if he does b/c of his salary.

We do need a change of pace backup that can hit the home runs ala Sproles. I think KM is going to be a game changer. I'd be sick if Phily gets him. Westbrook and KM...ugggghh.

Moreno would be an excellent addition to clinton. Two gamebreakers, who can block, catch, and explode out of the back field would make me extremely happy especially in the red zone, fourth quarters and November, December and January. That has been the skins problem for years clinton gets us in good situations but we cant finish with the running game because by the time we are close to scoring CP is beat up. We could use a versitle, all around back like Moreno to share the load. Betts is not the one he is a good back but not a gamebreaker. and he gets hurt easily! Rock is a special teamer! Unfortunately, that is to smart of a pick for the skins, well see!

I think more than a few people misunderstood and actually think you're saying draft Knowshon

Re: Other teams interest in Knowshon Moreno could benefit us...

I would be surprised if someone trades up to get Moreno, but if Philly is interested that makes some sense given their recent behavior. They traded for Peters & paid him big, an uncharaacteristic move, and last year they broke the bank for samuel.

They already traded one of their 1st round picks & a couple others. wonder how many picks they'd be willing to part with? They usually value their picks & draft wisely. Maybe they're loading up for Andy/McNabb's last stand?
