So tired of hearing this Sanchez talk. I agree with Jason, he should ask for a trade, but what are we going to have to give up to get Sanchez.. I mean are we going to sacrafice this whole draft and some of next year to get an unproven QB?

Get o-line, de or lb...

No doubt.

I underestimated Dan Snyder when I thought that nobody could possibly screw up his relationship with his starting QB worse than the Broncos new coach did with Cutler.

There's no smokescreen, IMO. That's not Snyder's style. I think he wants Sanchez. It simply remains to be seen whether or not the Skins can work a deal to get him.

BTW, for those who haven't seen it, cbssportsline.com has a video where Phil Simms raves about Sanchez as a prospect. Check it out.

Well at least Snyder is doing his own f*ck ups, Bowlen let some teenager coach take the keys to the car and crash it.

That is the only sensible thing to do if they indeed take Sanchez. But then again to do that wouldn't be sensible in the first place. JC is and will be a better QB in the NFL than Sanchez ever will be. Now if they were pulling this stuf in 2010, I could see at least some rhyme and reason in it(getting McCoy or Bradford), but Sanchez isn't going to pan out. He is just the only big name in a rather weak QB draft year.

Where does JC say that? Heck the link doesn't even mention an unnamed source.

Right on! I think this rumor is a bunch of crap. Wyche has fallen for a smokescreen and has built up an entire house of cards regarding the Redskins and Sanchez. JLC then repeated what Wyche falsely said.

JC is not quoted in the story. A source is not given. And JC didn't whine through the whole Cutler drama, but now he's uncharacteristically making demands BEFORE Sanchez is even drafted? It just doesn't sound like JC.

I put as much credence in this story as I do the story, "The Redskins have signed Santa Claus to play defensive back."

People thought the Cutler trade crap was a bunch of BS also!!!! Do you think with all of this possible Sanchez talk that JC is happy right after the the Cutler affair? It is quite obvious now that the FO does not think JC is the franchise guy and might as well use him as trade bait somehow. JC isn't dumb and knows what it all means. I give the story credence just based on the common sense of it all. JC has been slapped in the face twice in the span of a month.

I still think the Cutler trade crap may have been just crap. A news story ran that we offered the farm for Cutler without any evidence and then everyone else repeated the same unverified story. Now for some people that story has become the gospel truth because the story has been repeated so many times, despite the fact that no one knows what was discussed outside of the people in the Denver and Washington front offices. I'm not saying I know the truth about what happened - I don't - but I also don't trust rumors no matter how many times they are repeated.

This story about JC demanding a trade is different from the Cutler crap, anyway. This story about JC demanding a trade is wading through so much b.s. that it had better wear its tall boots. This story tells me more about Wyche's desperation for a draft-week story than it tells me anything about JC or the Redskins.

This is what has me thinking that a lot of this is b.s. Every story we read is just rehashing what they have heard/read from someone else who doesnt even have credible sources.

Personally, I think SC would be more suited to play Center, I mean think about it:

-He is always on time
-He always gets the count right
-He never messes up an exchange
-He knows who the naughty DL's are
-He has handled the rock well (ok coal but still it is a rock)
-If he can get down a chimney, he surely can get through the first blocks and lay out a MLB.

Now Grinch, That's who I want as my FS!

You need to wakeup about Colt Brennan, the front office not thinking about him. Why would they be so in love with Sanchez if they thought Colt could start this season. They could just trade Campbell for a 2nd or 3rd round pick. Sorry my friend Colt is not seeing any action in the regular season unless all the QB's get injuried.

I actually believe this.

However, I'd prefer Campbell, even over Colt.
