Re: PFT: LaCanfora to NFLN
The last few months the only thing that he did was scour the internet for news and then re-report it.

Re: PFT: LaCanfora to NFLN
NFLN is kidding themselves if they think he'll fill Schefter's shoes. Guess we'll get a healthy dose of Ravens' news now.

Re: PFT: LaCanfora to NFLN
Seriously. JLC, in covering one and only one team, managed to piss off the VP/GM (Cerrato) to the point where he wouldn't speak to him (even on major team news/issues), had all of his inside sources dry up, and in the end couldn't even keep pace with the national media on Redskins' news despite that being his sole function.
His reporting reeked of bitterness and sour grapes, and at times seemed borderline unprofessional. Good luck with this guy, NFLN. How do they expect him to successfully keep up with 32 teams when his coverage of only one team got steadily worse over his time in DC?

Re: PFT: LaCanfora to NFLN
To be honest at one point JLC was a serious leader in terms of the blogging and real insider type info. Now everyon e does what he is doing and he has burned some Skins bridges. It twas time for him to move on he got a good bump. Good for him...and good for us too.

Edit: Never mind, good for him going to Espen. However ESPN is stupid to think that Schefter can fill Sal Morten's shoes...what? That would be a step down for Wilbon going from co-host to correspondent. Especially when you go from ESPN to NFL Network. Not that NFLN is bad but consider the fact that virtually every cable provider carries ESPN. Anyway one things for sure. NFL Network is slowly collecting people who seem to hate the Redskins. Casserly, Lombardi, and now JLC.
