Re: You Got Training Camp Questions? Slingin Sammy's Got the Answers
I've got a running tab, I just hate to see it when it's cashed out. The last time the tab got cashed we wound up in Atlantis for 4 days.

Re: You Got Training Camp Questions? Slingin Sammy's Got the Answers
Thanks Sammy & Smootsmack.
Here's my question (s) (btw, I almost started a thread on this, but figured the answer would come as camp went along): HB Blades; what are their plans for this guy? Specifically, is he competing for a starting spot at OLB (doesn't sound like it) or working as backup to London. If the latter, are there any packages w/the starting unit where he replaces London other than the goal line D? |

What formations are used and how often are they used with a focus on the pass plays. This will probably be fairly intensive question because you probably need a pen and paper to chart this stuff. For example I-Form: 14 pass plays I-Form: 3 WR: 12 pass I-Form: 1 WR, 2 TE (stacked): 14 pass Singleback 2 TEs, 2 WR:14 pass Singleback 3 WRs:15 pass etc..... Can you keep an eye on the depth of the QBs drops and if the ball is coming out on time at the end of their drops? I'm curious to see which depth 3, 5 or 7 is used the most and which depth has the most success. Also, could you keep an eye on which routes are used/completed? Last year out offense was mostly hitches, quick hitches, slants, quick slants, deep comeback and fly/go routes. Are we mixing in some post routes, seam routes(slot), corner routes? |

Looks like SS33 is going to have his hands full tomorrow
Remember, he will try to answer as many questions as possible but may not get to all of them. Luckily, Daseal will be there to help. Here's another question: Word is M. Williams is already slipping down the depth chart and getting less reps while Bridges moves up. That seem to be the case?

How is Lorenzo Alexander doing? I haven't heard anything about him yet. And is he playing DE and DT?

Re: You Got Training Camp Questions? Slingin Sammy's Got the Answers
What quaterback looks the best out there? Specifically, does Campbell look in command of the offense in 11-on-11 drills. Does Brennan look like a viable candidate for the No.2 QB spot? Does he have any velocity on his throws?
Thanks!

SS33, if you see Look-inna-my-eyes Vinnie, ask what kind of eye drops he uses, please!
If you see LDS, ask him if the shoe lifts help. And, don't stay thirsty my friend, drink plenty of liquids. It's hot out there! (That's the voice of my kidney stones from my past talking!)

Re: You Got Training Camp Questions? Slingin Sammy's Got the Answers
1. Ask Orakpo which position is more difficult for him LB or DE? Defending the run or pass, which is his weakness right now?
2. With Haynesworth, Griffen, Phillip Daniels, & London Fletcher and Orakpo behind them, is our run defense randy? |

The Random House Dictionary: randy - sexually aroused. Why would you want to know that?

Re: You Got Training Camp Questions? Slingin Sammy's Got the Answers
First report: Got into the Courtyard Marriott Dulles Town Center at about 6pm. Went over to grab dinner with the family at Benihana's. Jason Campbell came in at about 8:20pm and was having a quiet dinner with his girlfriend.
I asked him about his command of the offense and if he was more comfortable with his reads & release. A few minutes later some of Loudon County's finest helped me out to my vehicle and mentioned something about a restraining order, so I may not be at camp tomorrow. J/K, JC was really eating at Benihana's tho. I'll do my best to cover all the questions and I'll post sometime tomorrow afternoon.
