Re: Micheal Crabtree is sad
I'm with you, too. I read PFT but never use it as a reference here.

Re: Micheal Crabtree is sad
Wells, supposedly, is Crabtree's cousin and "adviser"... meaning, the guy that Crabtree & his agent wanted to make the statement so they don't look as stupid... hahaha

Re: Micheal Crabtree is sad
And people say football players are arrogant and dumb. Where does that come from?

Edit. Remember this? I will never get burned again. http://www.thewarpath.net/redskins-locker-room/19534-rumor-brunell-heading-to-seattle.html#post345546 I know that it was not PFT, but this is a perfect example of why I do not believe anything until a combination of the following take place 1. it actually happens 2. reported by a reputable news source 3. is confirmed by those involved In this example you only have 1 of 3 and that is only because ESPN put their neck on the line. It has not happened and the parties involved have denied it. Last edited by KLHJ2; 08-06-2009 at 05:59 PM. |

Re: Micheal Crabtree is sad
They do it constantly. Seriously. Yeah they have a serious amount of crapola. Most of it is speculation/commentary/stirring things up. Florio often acknowledges it. But most of their stuff is straight forward reporting. There's a reason so many people follow it. If it was all crap no one would care.

Re: Micheal Crabtree is sad
After sitting out a full year and not playing any football along with an attitude, I don't think anybody will take him in the top 10. Hopefully he drops to the 32nd pick so we can pick him up.

Re: Micheal Crabtree is sad
I'm glad this thread was posted. Crabtree is greedy and i hope SF doesnt allow him on their team.

Re: Micheal Crabtree is sad
The media is having a field day with this. The 49ers are in an even stronger position now. Whoever is advising that fool needs to shut up.
When the public hears this kind of garbage in this economic environment it's an instant PR nightmare for the player. Last edited by wilsowilso; 08-06-2009 at 07:05 PM. |

Re: Micheal Crabtree is sad
Honestly Crabtree holding out for a year will end up making for much better stories then anything he will likely accomplish on the field this year so I am all for it. Ive never been a San Fran fan but I would become one if they end up low balling him now, based on his attitude and missed practice.
There is no way he would be a top 20 if he sits out a whole year, unless he goes to the UFL or something and tares it up (which would be foolish incase he doesnt do well or gets hurt). Plus he looses out on a whole year of income, likely never to be realized again, he will end up making less money in the short and long run unless he is picked higher then 10 next draft. Also how great would it be if theres a rookie pay scale in place next year and its all based on incentives no guarantees and you get paid less then vets. I mean whats wrong with someone demanding they get more then their fmv?

Man, if he does, what I wouldn't give to see SF draft him again...

Re: Micheal Crabtree is sad
trade him to the Lions or Raiders , then pay Tonya Harding to club him in the knee.

Re: Micheal Crabtree is sad
Plain and simple on this one, Crabtree is a FOOL and so is his agent!
